Everything is well thought out for the comfort of the guests. The kitchen is very well equipped, perfect for making good meals. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of space to eat and rest. The rooms are cozy and the bedding quality. The gite is 10-15 minutes from the parking lot of the Saint Lary gondola, which is perfect for skiing. Thank you for the warm welcome and attention to detail!

We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

welcoming hosts in a very quiet house and at the foot of the upper valley and close to Carcassonne as well ideal for a discovery stay (Bugarach, breathtaking Galamus gorges, and hot springs to discover during hikes). We highly recommend it.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in Prades. The house is beautiful and was the perfect set-up for us to enjoy time away with my partner, my parents, my sister and her three children. Happy days spent exploring the area, playing in the pool or walking into Prades, and browsing the markets. There was something for all age groups and so many wonderful things to do on the doorstep. Our particular favourites were the Bistro in Eus, the musical and lights show in the nearby caves and a wonderful trip on Le Petit Train Jaune. Maelle and her family were wonderful hosts and I would recommend a stay at her home without hesitation! Thank you for a wonderful time and memories that we will treasure.

The house is very cute, the presence of the wood makes it very cozy even the floor. It is the typical village house of the iaia. The fireplace on the floor is the gem of the house. The comfortable beds, the two living floors clean, tucked in and with heating. Totally recommended if you are looking to disconnect, quiet, quiet and being able to do outdoor activities in the mountains. Áreu is a very quiet village. Amalia's daughter Ceci was the one who attended us at all times, pending that we were ok, all the directions she gave us were adjusted, facilitating any information requested, flexible both on arrival and departure, on the last day we were able to enjoy the house until we left without rush. We will be back there for sure, our stay was shortened.

This is a beautiful place and it has now become a favorite for my family. The location is incredible, private w beautiful surroundings yet accessible to many quaint towns and must see stops in La Garrotxa and L’Emporda. The house is fabulous, a historical place brought to life with a beautiful and functional remodel. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal from soup to nuts. Bedrooms are comfortable, luxury linens, tastefully decorated, modern bathrooms. Dreamy outdoors, I could be here for hours bur there is a character limit. I would add one more star to the review because this place has a teapot!!! Thank you for thinking of the many tea lovers of the world.

One night stay in a lovely house very clean and totally suitable for hosting a family with small children, thank you to Catherine and Jean-Luc. Very close to Carcassonne by car, perfect.

Catherine and Padràig are very welcoming, available, responsive. Their place is very clean, spacious, very well appointed and has good sound insulation. Everything is together to have a great stay.

This is one of the loveliest long term stays that I have had ever had. This feels like a true home - all of the amenities and appliances that you could need for cooking at home and having a relaxing evening after a day of travels, including a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, and multiple sets of dishes. Never had any issues the hot water or water pressure. The wi-fi is incredibly fast and reliable, perfect for video calls for work and video streaming. The hosts live nearby and were very flexible and responsive when our train was delayed coming into Carcassonne, and they met us at the door and helped us to settle in. They also were very patient and helpful whenever we had any questions or issues (including those that were caused by our cat!) The location is incredible, very close to tourist sites and a nearby park / walking trail. Carrefour is about 15 mins walking, Lidl is a little further (25 mins walking). We'd love to come again!!

Great stay! The apartment was very clean and tidy. Well equipped with everything you need, the beds are also of good quality. The location is ideal, close to shops and the cable car. Sylvie's instructions and recommendations are clear and helpful. We will come back without hesitation!

Beautiful confortable apartment with an stunning panoramic view. The flat has all the thing you need and more! Diego is an outstanding host with an amazing heart, he is very responsive and he always help us every time we needed assistance, it is because of him, we give a five star review. Caldes d’strac its a beautiful place, has amazing beaches and great chiringuitos to eat in the beach the Mediterranean, we also recommend to go to Titus hot spring spa.

We had a fantastic time. The house was just like the photos, in a quiet area but 5 minutes from downtown. The house had everything and was very comfortable. Malou gave us homemade jams and pates, and we even tried the eggs from her chickens. Thank you Malou for everything :)

Small one-night stopover on our way back from the Christmas holidays in Kamelia's very cozy apartment. We wanted to introduce our children to the castle and the medieval city. It's done, especially since the accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the city gates. Kamelia is very responsive as well as her dad who hosted us very warmly. Carcassonne is a beautiful city. Next time, we'll stay longer. Thank you very much.

First of all, thank you for the great welcome^^ Impeccable accommodation, very well-equipped. I spent 2 nights for work and just have to say - nothing to say. Quiet neighborhood, the center of the village is within walking distance.

Great stay at this apartment! We were greeted by friends of the host who were very nice and warm. The apartment is very functional, with all the necessities. The decor is very nice, the bedrooms are spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Everything was clean upon arrival. The parking space is great, and we are close to the city (5 min drive). We had a great time in Font-Romeu in Nadège's apartment. Ideal for a family of two adults and two children (board games on site), balcony with views of the Pyrenees, well heated and well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, etc. It feels like a cocoon with its chalet decor. Covered parking with reserved space. Close to the city center, we were able to enjoy the slopes and restaurants. Nadège is available and attentive. We'll be happy to go back!

I came for a spa treatment with my dog as a company, the accommodation was perfect, surrounded by a park and views of the mountains. Everything could be done on foot and still quiet. So stay more than perfect!
