GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. To check out times go to https://waxholmsbolaget.se/ The hot tub can be used for longer stays than 4 nights and is subject to water supply as it can be very scare on the island during the summer. Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the edge of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's calm and quiet here. Only nature and at a stone's throw distance, there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

Enjoy this unique and peaceful space with the sea at your feet. Take a boat to surrounding islands, run or walk on the trails, sauna at the sunset in your own wood-fired sauna at the end of the jetty or swim by the beach, it's nature experiences at their best. Shop is on the island so you can pack lightly, get out into the archipelago with the ferry that runs several times a day and just enjoy! Small motor boat included in the reservation. Also ping pong table and boule court! The house is available and warm all year round! Welcome!

Seaside romantic activity stay only a stone's throw from Stockholm… With views over Saxarfjärden, Ljusterölandet and Grinda, a newly renovated cozy home is now offered for two. No visits by non booked guests can be allowed. Here you come both by bus from Slussen or by Vaxholm boat in about 1 hour from the city. Here you have access to dock and swimming, fishing, borrowing a boat with small motor, canoes, bikes, optimist dinghies, etc. on request. The private porch view is worth a lot.

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. 6 adults stayed in this house for a few days and it was amazing. We had plenty of room and the views were amazing. I would absolutely come back to Linda's place again. The island is nice for walking, swimming, and just relaxing. We took the waxholmsbolaget boat and it was very easy. Wonderful!

The pictures don´t lie; this is a great accomodation with a beautiful terrace in the trees. Our host also provided us with helpfull tips of what to do and where to find it so we fully recommend their stay.

The location right on the water is fantastic and perfect for relaxing. Communication with Lollo was super friendly and straightforward. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.
