Welcome to Austböneset – a place to gather for relaxation or adventure! Enjoy the tranquility in front of a crackling tile oven with a book, picking shells on the beach or having a picnic down by the boat house. Challenge each other in boule, snorkel in the crystal clear waters, or hike up the high peaks of Seven Sisters! Rainy days are games and movies. Make an excursion to the Vega World Heritage Site, a flea market on Heröy, or an adventure bath in Sandnessjöen. Maybe fish your own dinner and cook it on the grill?

Austbø on the Helgeland coast

Experience the Helgeland coast starting from Austbø! Peaceful and quiet surroundings, proximity to nature and an idyllic place for outdoor recreation. Sport fishing, kayak, bike rides, swimming, photo, walks and lots more. Free ferry from Søvik ferry rental (16 km from Sandnessjøen) to the island of Austbø. The cabin is perfect for families with children or families who want to get away from the big city. The cabin is located right by the sea and has sun from morning to evening in the summer. Nice outdoor areas.

From the cabin you have a view of the mountain Dønnamannen, Lovund and Øksningan. Kayak and bike for loan!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Amazing sunsets. In summer the sun doesn't set until midnight. Adult couples who like to enjoy rural and quiet atmosphere. 3 km to shop and restaurant HerøyBrygge. 1,5 km to unique Etcetera (magical flower shop that must be experienced). Café Skolo on Seløy is also very popular. Otherwise, Herøy invites cycling since it is relatively flat. Kritthvite beaches. especially at Tenna in the south of Herøy, at Herøy caravan.

Cozy cabin on the lovely Helgeland coast. Rorbua is idyllically located in Leinesodden marina. Rorbua is excellent for tourists as there are countless great opportunities for ski touring nearby, both in the Leirfjord and the Sandnessjøen area. There is also good chances of pulling up fish for dinner from the nearest swamp or boat. It is a short car ride if you want to experience Helgeland's beautiful archipelago via several free ferries.
