Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Alphabet City, Manhattan

So there are apparently not enough characters allowed in the review to fully express our pleasure staying at this wonderful place. We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs with our business the past five years and this particular one is in the top three. Upon approach, take in the charming brownstones and tree lined streets. Once you open the door, you are greeted with natural light filled space with a chefs kitchen. The decor is modern, yet not stark. The added elements, such as the exposed brick and wood, emanate a warmth and coziness. The outdoor back space is just right, but sitting on the front steps is the best because you meet all kinds of charming characters around the neighborhood. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with dream bathrooms, right down to the showerheads. beds were SO comfortable and perfect for melting into a deep sleep after a day in Manhattan. Favs:bathrooms, kitchen island, neighborhood shops and cafes, argh there’s not enough room left just book it already!!

Abi was an exceptional host! The location was ideal, with convenient free street parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind.

It was a quiet, clean, and reliable environment. We were comfortable for three days. We had our tea and coffee as if we were in our own home. It’s within walking distance to the metro, so going out and coming back wasn’t a problem. We recommend it to those who want to see New York.

We had a wonderful stay at Ashley and Ben’s Airbnb. The space included everything you might need, from standard hotel amenities to thoughtful extras that made the visit even more comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked and ready for use. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall environment was peaceful enough for a great night’s rest. The air conditioning kept the space pleasant, and the dehumidifier added an extra layer of comfort. Having access to laundry was also a major plus! One suggestion would be to add blackout curtains, which could make the space even more relaxing. We a great experience staying here, and we are absolutely planning on staying again in the future.

Very cozy, clean room with a mini-fridge and filtered water. They just put a new memory foam mattress on the bed, which was very comfortable. Stella was quick to respond to messages and very kind and accommodating. It was so nice to come back to this very private and quiet room after a long day out in the city! Within walking distance of several metro stations.

Tony ist ein toller Gastgeber - wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in seiner stylisch eingerichteten Wohnung sehr genossen! Die Wohnung liegt zwei Gehminuten von der Metrostation in einer familienfreundlichen und sehr belebten Gegend entfernt und die Nächte waren trotzdem sehr ruhig! Die Betten waren hervorragend bequem und die Unterkunft äusserst gut ausgestattet (vor allem Küche und Bad) und sehr cool eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt! Die zwei Schlafzimmer liegen entfernt voneinander, so dass mein Vater und ich ausreichend Privatsphäre hatten - perfekt für uns! Alles war genauso wie auf den Fotos beschrieben - sogar noch besser. Wir zögern nicht, auch das nächste Mal wieder bei Tony zu sein! Herzlichen Dank!

Es una habitación muy cómoda, justo lo que buscaba. El precio está muy bien en comparación con toda la oferta de la ciudad. La casa está justo al lado del metro con línea directa a lo más importante de la ciudad. La habitación tiene un microondas y una pequeña nevera. Pettrina fue muy amable y tiene instrucciones muy claras en varios lugares del alojamiento. No es necesario contactarla si no es una emergencia. Todo perfecto. Gracias por la estadía!

We really enjoyed our stay - the unit was absolutely perfect for what we needed and acted as the perfect base for all things New York being a one minute walk from the station! Krystal was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful - would highly recommend !

5 Stars – Perfect Stay in Little Italy! I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The location in Little Italy was absolutely perfect — full of charm, culture, and amazing food just steps away. The space itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described (if not better!). Everything was well-maintained, and it was clear the host put care into the little details that made the stay comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, and all the amenities I needed were available.

We really enjoyed our stay.Nice quiet apartment about a half hour drive from a number of attractions that we wanted to see in NYC.

We loved our stay here - perfect location for getting anywhere in Manhattan quickly. The apartment was spotless and the bed was especially big and comfortable. We’ll be staying here again for sure!

Mukava kokemus. Asunto oli siisti ja moderni, rauhallisella alueella. Juuri sopivalla etäisyydellä Manhattanilta (noin 30-40 min julkisilla) Lähistöllä on myös mahtava bagel-paikka B Bagels ja ISO Target shoppailua varten, suosittelen! Todella mukava sänky. Hiljainen! Ainoastaan yhtenä aamuna (majoituin viikon ajan) kuului ääniä ulkoa mihin heräsin. Talon kuntosali oli hyvin varusteltu ja kävinkin siellä täyttämässä juomapulloni, ilmaista filtteröityä vettä 😆 Kattoterassilta näkyi Vapaudenpatsaalle asti. Kivat näkymät varsinkin illalla. Jos jotain negatiivista pitäisi keksiä, niin keittiön veitset kaipasivat teroittamista ja pimennysverhot olisivat olleet tarpeen! (Kannattaa ottaa silmämaski, aamulla asunto on valoisa)

This exceeded our expectations. It was a combo of simple neighborhood living matched with somewhat luxurious hotel vibes. Although there are no shortage of amazing restaurants, it would be easy to prepare food, including basics like oil, salt, and pepper. This is where we will stay again when in the Lower Eastside.

This BnB was awesome! My husband and I visited from out of state for an event and this place was in a perfect location. A short walk from Liberty State Park, it was exactly as described. The place itself was beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable. We would absolutely stay again! (:

Staying here was honestly such a dream! I felt right at home the second I stepped in. The place was comfortable, clean and super spacious! Such a wonderful stay will definitely come again! Anthony was an amazing host with fantastic communication.

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

We had a great time in the apartment, it was clean and everything we needed was there. Just like in the description. Comfortable bed and couch, great appliances, nice bathroom and everything was in good condition. Really close to public transportation and many restaurants. The ac was great after a hot and busy das in the city, it felt like coming home every evening. Thanks!

The view of the NYC skyline was exactly as promised in the pictures. Host was super responsive. The place was within walking distance to bus and ferry to NYC.

Great apartment in a nice area of Hoboken. We used this as a base for our trip to New York so did not spend much time at the place but the location is great, you are close to the station (10-15 minute walk) which takes you to Manhattan Midtown or the Financial District at World Trade Centre. The area in Hoboken is also very nice, you are nearby the Hoboken waterfront which offers great views of Manhattan and an opportunity to slow down from fast pace of Manhattan. Further you are next to Washington Street, which has lots of restaurants and bars, we particularly enjoyed starting the day with Bagels on the Hudson. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. AJ was always quick to respond for any questions we had. Overall, would recommend.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is just like the photos, and in a lovely neighborhood with grocery, coffee, restaurants, subway, etc. nearby. The bed is super comfortable...amazing water pressure...all located in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Laurie’s place in Hoboken! The home is exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well thought-out. Laurie has truly anticipated every need, making it easy to feel right at home. We were a group of six (three couples), and the space was perfect—spacious & comfortable. The beds were especially cozy. The location couldn't have been better—just a 10-minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting into NYC fast and simple. After long days exploring, it was so nice to return to a quiet, relaxing home base in Hoboken. The neighborhood itself is absolutely charming, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy Hoboken itself. We especially loved grabbing coffee just a block away at Hey Coffee People and relaxing in the peaceful backyard. All in all, Laurie’s place is a rare find. If it’s available, don’t hesitate to book. We’d return in a heartbeat!
