Monthly Rentals in Almonte

A pleasant place, but maybe too hot in late summer. This is an off-grid house, powered by solar panels paired with good capacity batteries, so there are limitations to what and when can be used. It was great to learn there is an air conditioner and can be used during the day, although it is not advertised. With above 30 outside, the whole house gets hot and stuffy quickly. Kids loved the little pool and we all enjoyed that everything could be found where you'd be looking for it. As far as location goes, we had no prpblem finding it on Google maps. Everyone here has dogs, so expect to hear plenty of barking all around during any time day or night. The nearby town is nice and shopping for essentials there was a breeze. 30-40 minutes drive to the shore.

Staying at Micaela’s place was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Micaela is an incredibly welcoming host who took care of every detail to make our stay perfect. When we arrived, we found a basket full of delicious oranges and everything we needed for the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The flat itself is huge, beautifully designed with great taste, and feels extremely cozy — truly a home away from home. It’s located in a very quiet village, perfectly positioned for exploring Seville, its surrounding province, Huelva, and the stunning Doñana National Park, with hidden gems like El Rocío and its beautiful church. Nearby, you’ll find many local shops, including a fantastic grocery store with a butcher section (Cash la Huerta) where everything is incredibly fresh and tasty. Micaela was always quick to respond to any message — usually within 10 minutes — and was an outstanding host in every way. I would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay with Sarah and Gilles. Gilles was very flexible on our check-in and check-out time. The access instructions are clear, we had no trouble finding it at night. We were spoiled by beautiful stars in the night, as well as the petting of adorable cats while we were having dinner. The tent is as pictured, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. Thanks again!

The property was very good, suitable for 4 people. He cared for us very well and was pending when we needed him.
