Our two-tiered approach

A lovely bright house right next to Notre Échelle 1. With a swimming pool in the garden with a large sun terrace. In 2024, it was converted into a vacation home where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. Here you will find peace and quiet, the beautiful countryside, but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Chaumes de Villeneuve "The Chalet"

Located a few kilometres from Châtillon en Bazois, in the centre of France, only 3 hours from Paris, the "Chalet des Chaumes de Villeneuve" is located in the middle of a large garden and surrounded by oak trees, all a few steps from the Nivernais canal. Its unique character and the calm of the place will offer you an authentic and comfortable stay in the heart of the Nièvre, in the Bazois, with a view of the Morvan. Close to amenities: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy within 10 mins.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Unusual barrel room

The barrel is an unusual accommodation located in a garden adjoining a stopover lodge. Cocooning is guaranteed in this 12 m² barrel where all the comforts are present (heating, electricity, table, benches). The bathroom (shower, sink, toilet) is located in a building close to the barrels. Sun loungers and garden furniture allow you to enjoy the garden. The infrastructure of the stopover cottage can be used. Breakfast is offered at €10/person and can be booked upon arrival.

La Maison Lili Bohême, The Gîte

Slow life charming cottage for family vacations, friends or for a romantic weekend. In the south of Burgundy, on the border of Allier and Saône-et-Loire, come and spend a stay in La Maison Lili Bohême, a small independent farmhouse completely renovated and decorated in a bohemian chic style. In the countryside, in the middle of the fields, our cottage offers you a soothing and rejuvenating stay. Creative classes offered: sewing, vegetable dyeing and more with the owner.

Country home, Au 40, Morvan, Burgundy

In the Morvan Regional Natural Park, our house is located in a small village at the foot of Mont Beuvray. Peaceful, this cottage has been completely renovated. Ideal for relaxing with the family, you will find all the comforts you need indoors and outdoors. Its garden is perfect for meals or moments of rest, its main asset is the magnificent and unobstructed view. Pets are also allowed. You can park your vehicles in the parking lot and bikes in an outbuilding.

Gîte de l'orée du bois (Wood's Edge Cottage)

Cottage in the town of Montapas, at the gates of Morvan. At the edge of two ponds (swimming with MNS and fishing), you can enjoy the calm of the countryside. Nature, hiking and cycling lovers will thrive. Nearby, Chatillon-en-Bazois will welcome you for its shops and its castle surrounded by the Nivernais Canal. 30 minutes from Morvan, with its lakes and rivers. For food lovers, you can visit the cellars of the Loire Valley in 45 minutes (Sancerre/Pouilly).

La Saboterie

Welcome to La Saboterie, a former clog factory from the 1800s, lovingly renovated by us. Nestled in the heart of the Morvan, between forests, rivers, lakes and the starry sky. In a charming little village, very quiet. Handmade furniture, exposed stones, French ceiling, enclosed garden with no neighbours, fully equipped kitchen and quality bedding await you. For a soft and warm atmosphere, between tradition and comfort. Dogs allowed only by request.
