We really enjoyed our stay, and it was great to be able to bring our dog too! The farm is beautiful, the cabin was cosy and private and there's lots to explore in the local area. Lovely to have a log fire in such cold weather, and all the facilities are there if you wanted to cook and eat at home rather than venturing out. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they were proactive about letting us know when the cabin was ready early (a really nice surprise) and respectful about whether our dog would be comfortable with the farm dogs or not, which was very welcome. We loved it, thank you David!

Absolutely stunning! best place ever, we had an amazing stay, it's like a little piece of paradise. Mark and Nicola went above and beyond with the details, how friendly and easy to communicate they have been, literally everything has been as good as it can get! A place to relax, reconnect, enjoy nature and peace, and fall in love again with your special person. We will be back! thanks so much for everything!

Kirsten’s place was perfect for the purpose of our visit to Stanthorpe. We came to visit some friends who have been in Stanthorpe for the last few years. Even though Kirstee’s place is set up for two we were able host our friends for lunch. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for our roast lamb and vegetables lunch, enjoyed with some local red and white wines. Hot tub was 👌🏼 in the cold weather, our visit to the local markets was amazing, very kind and friendly people everywhere. Great coffee and produce. Waste no time, get yourself booked in for a stay in Stanthorpe and be sure to stay at Kirstee’s place.

Just wow!! We booked last minute and were so happy that we did. Amanda’s cabin is just incredible. We were given clear instructions and upon arrival were so impressed. Amanda had the cabin windows open and the indoor fire already started so the cabin was cozy. Absolutely everything you need is in the cabin and it was so tidy and clean. The bed was insanely comfortable and the pillows were amazing. We thought we would get cold throughout the night but with the fire going and the bedding it was so comfortable. We used the outdoor firepit and took a walk down to the creek. Thank you for an incredible night away. We will definitely be back soon.

Secluded cabin in very large, well-kept grounds. The accommodation is well equipped and clean. An idyllic spot for those who, like us, are looking for absolute peace and quiet. At sunrise, kangaroos come to graze on the grass right next to the accommodation. It's hard to go back to the city after a long weekend at Brooke's. Highly recommended!

Absolutely OBSESSED. This stay completely exceeded my expectations in every way. Every detail was clearly thought out with so much care. The fireplace was the coziest touch, and the clawfoot bathtub was a total dream. The natural surroundings were pure serenity, and there were multiple walking trails right at our doorstep. Laura is absolutely lovely and nothing was too much of an ask! I’m already planning my return — we honestly didn’t want to leave. If you’re considering booking, stop thinking and just do it!!

Had a great stay! Phillip was a wonderful host, very friendly, accomodating and happy to help with anything we needed. Cabin has a beautiful view making for a relaxing and peaceful night away. Animals were friendly - shoutout to Ziggy the dog who was keen to welcome us in. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful with a stunning view of the dam. It was just the right amount of off-grid for our boys to run around and enjoy the outdoors. They mountain biked at Mt Joyce every day (just across the dam). We also loved that we weren't too far from a great pub lunch (recommend the Roadvale Hotel).

The cabin is the perfect hidden escape. You feel so far from the world but are only a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Samford. Rohan’s communication is wonderful and he was happy to help with anything we needed. Thanks for everything Rohan, all the best. 😊

Incredible experience to be able to get away from the busy life that brings us all away from nature. I felt completely at peace during this stay and I was very grateful to be able to bring my dogs along for the adventure. Would stay here a million times over, the tiny home was the perfect size and felt very cosy. Lying down and listening to the birds whilst reading was beautiful. Make sure you understand how to get to the property before you leave, I thought I did but I can safely say I did not and it took my almost an hour to find it but if you read the instructions it’s pretty easy! Definitely a me error but be mindful to find all the necessary information before you get there! Thanks for the amazing stay!!

Our stay here was so lovely! We would have loved to have stayed longer but unfortunately had to return to work :( The place was very clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. The views were amazing! Highly recommend going up the hill and looking at the stunning view. 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be returning!

Mel was great, welcoming, available & full of energy. We appreciated the fresh eggs, firewood, all the animals on the property. We had some wet weather, so very much enjoyed being able to make use of the pooltable, bar area, sports room. Our cottage accommodation on the property was more than suitable, with everything required in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom & living area. Thanks Mel.

My daughter, dog and I had a wonderful 3 night stay! The view was beautiful and the bird life so relaxing. There are beautiful wallabies on the property and we loved meeting the gorgeous miniature cows! Our hosts were lovely and helpful. I hope to come back again for a relaxing weekend.

Very comfortable, clean and cosy cottage with nice walks for our doggo and views to enjoy from the front verandah for us. Easy access to the centre but still felt remote enough to see the night stars and kangaroos which was a bonus!

Walganbar is exceptional in more ways than one. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful welcome pack and the beautifully presented, spacious unit that had everything we needed for a quiet and intimate weekend away. As if that wasn’t enough, the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted with a spectacular view that captivates you throughout your stay. We often enjoy self-catered weekend getaways, and Walganbar truly tops the list. It offers everything you could want — including stunning nearby waterfalls and peaceful surrounds that make it the perfect escape. It’s a hidden gem, made even more special by the wonderful hosts, Rachel and Kathy, who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable, relaxing, and just that little bit extra. This one place we’ll surely come back to.

Clean bedding, friendly and easy to contact host. Serene location and very peaceful.

We had such a great time. We called it the house in the trees - it was in such a beautiful position. The house itself was comfortable with comfy beds, chairs, etc. we loved the peace and quiet and the views of the mists on the hills. It is very close to Cedar Creek Rock pools, Lyells deer sanctuary (which the kids loved) and lovely viewpoints. I recommend this property unreservedly.
