Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Allier River

We hadn't taken into account that it was indicated in the listing that the accommodation was below a departmental road, so when we arrived we were a little afraid that it would be too noisy but in the end it's not very busy during the day and it's really quiet when you arrive in the evening so more fear than harm! 🙂 The accommodation is cute, the view is pretty, there is no radiator (except the towel dryer in the bathroom) so you have to remember to turn on the stove before it gets too cool because it takes a while to heat up. Nice hikes not very far away (the best was from Valcivières: colporteur des jasseries). And a nice flea market in Saint Sauveur les Sagnes and also the flea market of the Divine Mix in Ambert.

Incredible and passionate hosts. We had a great weekend with friends, in a magical setting. Great for disconnecting and relaxing. The house is a mix of modern and old, the park is huge and the children spent the 4 days walking around the property between visits and parks around. We didn't have time to get bored and we fully recommend this place and these hosts for a great time with family or friends.

We had a great time at Véronique's place! The setting is very nice and the house comfortable, we will happily return to continue discovering the area. We recommend eyes a second thought!

Third stay with Nadine and Christophe. Always idyllic for the 3 of us. The buron is exotic, the place magical and our hosts adorable. It's a real relaxing and refreshing stay. We will be back, for sure!

A big thank you to Pierre for hosting us in his beautiful house in Bois. The place is superb, perfectly furnished, with very well thought-out spaces, the swimming pool, the sauna... My friends, who were discovering Aveyron, were delighted by this interlude between Conques and the surrounding landscapes. For my part, as a native of the region, I had great pleasure in sharing a little of this territory with them. And as promised this morning, I intend to come back!

Florence and Jean-Guy welcomed us warmly. The setting is beautiful in the middle of nature without being totally isolated. The accommodation is very nice and allows you to spend a quiet time in the countryside.

very nice cottage. Julien is a friendly host with whom contact was easy. He warned us in advance of the 2 "disadvantages" of the cottage: the bells ringing at 8 am and a lot of stairs in the cottage. We knew what to expect! But the rest more than makes up for it. The view from this cottage is magnificent and the environment lends itself to beautiful walks and lovely discoveries! We'll be back with pleasure!

Very relaxing rental with a beautiful view, not overlooked and no noise. We really enjoyed the wood stove, the walls once heated keep the heat well, and we did not need to turn it on again for the rest of our 3-day weekend. Lots of small details, several oils, shallots, onion. sheets towels. Large fridge, coffee pod. Comfortable couch. Car parked as close as possible without obstructing the view. Good reception of 4G, sufficient to watch a movie. Walk to the lake 4 km on foot very pleasant, but beware of ticks in June, fortunately quickly spotted, I was in shorts, better to keep the pants to walk in the tall grass in this season. Very good rental I recommend

Jean Michel & Anne Sophie are superb hosts. Their apartment is simply wonderful in every way, it has so much character, it is centrally located and has all the amenities you could want and more that add sparkle and imagination. Close by are all the things you need in the superb city of Autun. We visited by tandem, it was so good not to have to use any form of transport whilst we were there to access everything. Ideally located accommodation to participate in the Napoleonic celebrations, in the heart of Vichy. Close to the opera and the Palais des Congrès.

We spent an unforgettable long weekend in this cottage on the occasion of a cousinade. The place is beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was perfect for our whole group, couples and families with children :) The view of nature is breathtaking, and the large garden allowed us to fully enjoy every moment: swimming in the pool, meals on the terrace, evenings around the brazier... everything was there for an ideal stay! Finally, a huge thank you to Virginie, warm, available and caring, who with her family, largely contributed to the beautiful atmosphere of our stay! A place we recommend with our eyes closed and where we would happily return!

Extraordinary. I celebrated my 40th birthday in this castle, we were 12 adults and 12 children. Impeccable layout of the rooms, clean and in place linen, safe and very pleasant outdoor environment. Don't hesitate.

A weekend of racing in the Puys mountain range with 8 friends in this accommodation! Everything was great! Everything to enjoy and plenty of activities within walking distance (hiking, tree climbing, golf, Charade circuit) and easily accessible by car (Puy de Dôme, Pariou, Clermont Ferrand)! Highly recommended!
