We are just 2 miles from downtown so you can enjoy what the city has to offer, then unwind in this lovely urban countryside.

The upper flat is not in use, so no noise from upstairs! Onsite washer & dryer! 5 minutes to the Detroit River and boat ramps! Entry to the loft is in the rear of the property, accessible only from the alleyway via Elm or Butternut. • The Loft is a second floor studio space with bed, living area, kitchen and bathroom. • There is a free, designated parking area off the alley, adjacent to entry door. • The studio is in the outbuilding, behind our house, with entry and parking area off alley

Right off the Wilkins exit of the Dequindre cut. Walkable to Eastern Market, Downtown, and the River! Easy to get to all stadiums and most major concert halls. Built by Cranbrook students for their thesis in micro-housing and revived by us in 2016! We have hosted over 500 guests ranging from a full boyscout troup to the broadway cast of The Book of Mormon to the parents of kids who play basketball at the highscool nearby.
