Wow! What a fantastic stay- the house was beyond our expectations. Sublime pool area ( better than the photos!) , comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing little extras!!! Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. We have had an excellent time. The town of Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta provided a quiet visit to Gerês and São Bento da Porta Aberta. Great location with restaurants and mini-markets nearby so we can make/have lunch. The house allows us to go hiking or long runs in the middle of nature observing small streams and beautiful landscapes. It was a very good experience. The house was in great condition and has all the conditions to receive families. Thanks to Sara who guided us in our stay and who didn't let us miss anything.

Second stay at Isabel's and still as satisfied. The house is always very clean, tidy and well-equipped. Proximity to big cities (Barcelos, Braga...) but the quietness of the countryside. Ideal for vacation. I recommend Isabel for her kindness and responsiveness. The house for its space and these amenities. Thanks again for everything and see you soon 🎉

The accommodation has even more charm than the photos, the house is very cozy and in the garden you can only hear the birds and the views are wonderful. José Antonio is very attentive and is very friendly. Wishing to return, the area is great and we have many things to see.

Jaime has been a 10-star host. Always attentive and super friendly, the house is perfect for getting to know the area and base it in total tranquility but close to Orense and well connected. Nothing better than enjoying its fireplace and living room after the day of visits . I recommend it !

The accommodation is very well located, next to the Vigo estuary, beautiful views and Martina is very friendly with all three, especially with the little one. Very at ease.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

We love staying in this residence, even with high time we can make the most of it, full kitchen, duvet towels and all clean sheets… Impeccable house we adore and will return again… City Hall has everything in the kitchen that a house needs and except magic wand and a blender that we missed. In the more there is kettle coffee machine, microwave grill everything, excellent stove and ovens, bathrooms and an amazing shower. We only lacked an air-conditioner but did not change at all the good lodging thank you !

The house is wonderful, large and cozy. The exteriors are simply spectacular, a huge swimming pool with the water at an excellent temperature (not cold), and a huge plot of land on terraces, green and leafy, everything very well maintained. The photos don't do it justice, it's much better. I recommend it without hesitation.

The house is large and extremely clean , comfortable rooms with good bedding, very well-equipped kitchens. The garden is very pleasant and well maintained. We did not enjoy the barbecue area, but the space looked great. The location is ideal in a quiet residential area, but Braga is really not far away, and it's easy to get there quickly. As well as Porto which is about 45 minutes away. Finally, Cidália is very friendly, super responsive and really concerned about the well-being of guests: a great host!

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Loads of space for our party of 8. Our host Jose was very welcoming and ensured our stay was perfect. Just a short walk into Ponte de Lima which has loads to offer. Lots of cafés and eateries and the river is great for swimming and kayaking. A short drive to many other places to visit if you should wish. Highly recommended. A++

lovely place to spend time with friends

The house is truly wonderful. The pool is big enough and not too close from the house so the kids do not bother the people who want to rest in the house peacefully. the small pond with the fish is cute and lovely the kitchen is beautiful and big enough to have a few cooks in the kitchen the bedrooms are spacious
