Quinta Kakelbont is one of the most relaxed places I’ve ever been to. The place is located on a huge place of land with 4 really relaxed dogs, 2 super cute pigs and so many fruit trees, where you can pick fresh oranges. It’s super calm and beautiful. The house is very cozy, the bed is comfy and there’s a kitchen with all the appliances. Sjoukje and Carlos are great hosts, we can definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed stay.

Everything worked out very well, flexible self check-in and check-out! The communication with the agency was very good, the staff were very polite and solved the Wi-Fi problem in person at short notice! The location was quiet, the small garden with the mini pool very nice and sufficient. Only point that could be improved: There is only one small shelf in the bedroom for a suitcase and a small mini dressing bar. Otherwise everything was there. Thanks again for the flexibility to check out!

Original accommodation in a peaceful location in a quiet little town. The place is pretty good to visit the Algarve if you have the car. The little house includes the bed, shower and bathroom are separate. Pretty setting with pink flamingos behind the property. Nice experience to live in during the nice weather (unfortunately it rained a little during our stay and it's more complicated to enjoy the place). The host was very available when we arrived late.

We would love to stay with Samantha again at any time. A natural environment, a peaceful place on earth. Highly recommended are also Samantha's cooking skills !!! Self-catering is also possible. There are ways to meet up with other guests, equally problem-free is the tranquility in and around your own accommodation area. The Atlantic coast is less than 8 km away and there are also plenty of things to do inland. In short - highly recommend!!!

I booked this Airbnb for my best friend’s 23rd birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and we felt totally safe the entire time. Everything was spotless and beautifully kept. I let Christina know it was my friend’s birthday, and she went above and beyond—she surprised us with a cake and candles, which made the celebration even more special. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s an additional fee for extra guests, even if there are multiple beds—so make sure to double-check the listing details. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and I’d love to stay here again!

A place where your soul finds rest. Pachawa is no ordinary place - it is a small oasis in the middle of nature, where you are immediately embraced by peace, simplicity and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Marcus is an exceptional host: friendly, approachable and committed. You sense that he has built this place with love, together with the fine volunteers who stay there. His son surprised us with delicious, freshly baked pizza - a little party in itself. Everything about this place invites you to slow down, enjoy the moment, and recharge yourself. We only had two nights, but it felt like much more. Thank you for everything, Marcus. We will come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. the apartment offers everything two people need and is the perfect starting point in the middle of everything in the western part of the Algarve. The sun terras offers a great view as well! One tip: ventilate the house enough and use the dehumidifiers that are included. the humidity has trouble finding its way outside of the house! we really recommend staying here! we had an unforgettable time.

Very nice little place on the outskirts of Burgau. The village center can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Very nice hosts with very nice dogs. Good starting point to discover the Algarve.

Such a wonderful space—truly a hidden gem in a beautiful natural setting. It felt incredibly calming and peaceful. Max was super helpful and very responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

This place is simply lovely :-) It‘s really cozy, with an eye for detail, it got everything one needs - as well as being inspiring on how to make one’s house more sustainable. Diana also was so nice, giving me a lift , sharing some veggies from her garden, being around for a little chat. And yeah it is truly off grid, but one day I had a really nice hike to Barão de São João, so for nature and calmness it was ideal. Thank you!

What a gem this place is! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view of the peace and serenity. The comfort of the cottage and the lovely veranda. In real life, it's even more beautiful than the photos show. Katrin is a very sweet warm-hearted woman who is there for you as needed. Easily accessible and approachable. We will definitely come back here. For us, this experience was a big fat 10!

We stayed in a cottage of Cristina and Timo again. It is just beautiful. The house is very nicely decorated, the terrace is a dream (even in the rain ;)) and you can spend hours at the swimming lake! Timo and Cristina are so warm, you feel very welcome, like at home! Thank you for the wonderful days with you!

Super friendly welcome, great garden and pool area. We stayed at the windmill, which has a unique atmosphere, but not much space for luggage. There is a little annexe with a table, perfect for a candle light dinner.

We had a very nice week at João's place. The tiny house was cozy, clean and in a perfect location. All restaurants and the sea are within walking distance. So location is perfect. Wonderful stay! The location is great, Peter was incredibly helpful w suggestions for local food, etc and quick to respond. The place is really unique and memorable. We would love to stay again. One heads up for mobility impaired folks: would not be a good choice due to small steel steps up to bedrooms. Again, loved it and recommend highly

Nice stay in a very quiet location. Hetty and Patrick are very kind and helpful. The highlight is the sauna and the associated view.

We loved our stay! The cabin you sleep in is super cute, at the end of September a little cold so pack a jacket maybe. The atmosphere of the garden is amazing, everything super cute and chill. For cleaning the plates you have to get water in a bowl because in the outside kitchen is no running water, but you can get it in a minute from the bathroom, which was also super cute and clean. We totally recommend staying here :)
