Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alijó

Huis is helemaal zoals op de foto’s. De tuin en het zwembad vonden wij geweldig, met mooie vergezichten over het dorp en de druivenvelden. De ontvangst was zeer gastvrij en leuk om te ervaren hoe trots de eigenaren zijn op hun woning, de omgeving en hun port. Wat ons betreft helemaal terecht. We kregen leuke tips om te doen, een tour door het huis en de tuin en een welkomst drankje aangeboden. Er zijn overal hoekjes en zitjes waar je de zon kunt opzoeken of juist kunt ontvluchten. De keuken is goed uitgerust en eigenlijk alles is wel aanwezig (en ook voldoende) De slaapkamers zijn erg comfortabel, zeker de twee met badkamer. Het dorpje is erg rustig, zijn onder andere 2 kleine supermarkten, apotheek en wat eetgelegenheden. Op 25 minuten heb je echter volop supermarkten en andere winkels. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen, de eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, communiceren snel en hebben ons zeer welkom laten voelen.

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit fantastischer Aussicht und herzlichen Gastgebern. Die Kommunikation lief sehr einfach, Daniela und ihr Team sind ausgesprochen hilfbereit und freundlich. Wir hatten gehofft, auch das hauseigene Restaurant nutzen zu können, was diesmal leider nicht möglich war. Stattdessen konnten wir aber ein paar kleinere köstliche Speisen bestellen und auf unserer romantischen Terasse genießen. Auch der Frühstückskorb hat sich sehr gelohnt. Die Umgebung eignet sich gut für Spaziergänge an einem der Flüsse oder ausgedehntere Wanderungen. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft für Alle, die einen eher zurückgezogenen, romantischen Ort in wunderschöner Natur zu schätzen wissen.

We hebben het heerlijk gehad bij Daniela. De accommodatie ligt in een prachtige omgeving, ongeveer 15 tot 20 minuten van de restaurants en supermarkt. Dus wel een auto nodig. We kregen in de ochtend op een afgesproken tijdstip een ontbijtmand. Deze was zo goed gevuld dat het ook meteen voldoende was voor de lunch. Daniela is erg vriendelijk en is goed bereikbaar via de app wanneer ze niet op het terrein is. We zouden graag nog een keertje terugkomen. Het prachtige zwembad moet ook nog even worden vermeld.

Férias bem passadas nesta linda casa. Casa limpa, com tudo que é preciso. Uma piscina top. Bem situada, pertinho da vila e com lindas paisagens a volta. De certeza que vamos voltar 😊 Obrigada

highly recommend to visit this wonderful village, friendly neighbourhood and beautiful scenery! if you just visited Lisbon and Porto but missed this area, you Portugal trip will not be complete. The host is the native of the area, he will show you what you can do in this area.

Super tranquila. Eu já conhecia Nagoselo do Douro porém nunca fiquei hospedada apenas fazia um bate e volta. Foi extremamente emocionante passar dias agradáveis na cidade d. que meu pai e meus avós nasceram. Gratidão! Tenho intenção de retornar algum dia.

We only stayed in Carla's beautiful home for 4 days. We wish we could stay longer. The house is like peaceful retreat hidden between the vine terraces. The highlight was the swimming pool overlooking whole valley and vineyards. It ws very hot, but outside was well shaded area where we could rest and have a glass of wine. Also air conditioning was really helpful. We were surrounded by pomegranate and fig trees! The village of Pinao was only 5 minutes drive away, with several restaurants, port tasting and boat trips. We were very comfortable and we can recommend this lovely quinta for those who are looking for peace, quiet and beautiful views!

Listen to me,no really..listen to me..THIS is it!! I never write reviews but I had to for this one. I wouldn’t say I’m picky, but I work hard like a lot of people and when I go away, I like to be at peace and relaxed. And let me tell you,this place is freakin beautiful. First of all it’s on top of a mountain which has the most incredible view of the valley and mountain side. The vineyards everywhere, the peacefulness is beyond words. I’ve stayed in a bunch of places around the world, this has got to be in my top 3 for sure! The pool impeccably clean. The house itself was immaculate. Beautifully modern bathrooms in every bedroom with amazing views of the valley from inside the shower. No really, you’re taking a shower and looking out a window into the valley! Amazing. The house had everything you need to cook a meal including the most important, 2 diff coffee pots. Delicious bakeries down in the valley. And Paula, what a sweetheart. She’s the best! What a great personality! Amazing

This guesthouse is wonderful 🫶🏼 The studio is fully equiped, with everything you need, and there is a beautiful garden with a terrace in front of the best view of Provesende. If you hesitate to go there, please don't ! The roads are very good and this village is really charming. Jet and her husband are really nice and they can cook for you if you ask in advance for the diner (in addition to the airbnb), I advise to take it!! 🥰🍷☀️ Thanks for all ❤️

Un séjour d'exception, dans un endroit de rêve, au bout du monde avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la Vallée du Douro et la Tua : pas de bruit, un tout petit village dans un cul de sac avec vue sur les vignes. Non loin, plusieurs activités et restaurants proposés par Daniela et son mari : adorables ! Grande serviabilité et générosité ; ils nous ont réservé une surprise de taille le dernier jour sur le Douro : navigation privée pour nous 17 ! Nous avons plusieurs fois pris les dîners et les petits-déjeuners chez eux : délicieux ! Le seul petit bémol, le lave-linge non accessible : mais il suffit de demander et les machines tournent ! Le longe est rendu le soir tout propre ! Un service de haut niveau ! Merci Daniela ! Je pense et espère revenir un jour chez vous profiter de la lumière incomparable et de votre belle piscine, mais aussi de vos différentes terrasses !

BABhouse Casa do Avô Pedoucas is just incredible. The views are truly spectacular and the house has been modernised sympathetically and ingenuously so that all the charm of the old house is retained. We went on beautiful walks recommended by Leonor. The whole area is stunning and very peaceful. We had great weather so the secluded swimming pool was very welcome. We would love to return.

Nous avons terminé nos vacances par deux jours de repos dans la location de Jorge : nous n’avons pas été déçus ! L’endroit est paisible, la maison est en pleins milieu des oliviers et des vignes. Vous pourrez vous y promener, mais aussi vous y reposer (hamac, espace détente, plusieurs tables et banc extérieurs, balancelle, etc.). Il y a une cuisine extérieure avec un barbecue très agréable. Nous recommandant ce logement d’un calme très reposant. Le logement est encore mieux en vrai qu’en photos ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Un des meilleurs Airbnb que nous ayons fait .. Jorge et son fils se rendent disponible en cas de besoin, toujours au petit soin. À bientôt !

If you found Daniela's place - do not look any further! I have spent hours and days searching for a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with my bf in Douro, and I am so happy I found this one. It is located in the most picturesque part of the Douro valley, surrounded my vineyards and greenery - it is one of the most tranquil places I have ever stayed at. And Daniela helped me with all sorts of recommendations and had been incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We felt truly at home - thank you!

Geweldige afsluiting van onze vakantie, midden in het feestgedruis van Provesende, maar door duidelijke communicatie van Jet wisten we wat we konden verwachten en vonden we het eigenlijk alleen maar leuk. Eten boven met uitzicht over de Douro-vallei: prachtig, gezellig en lekker met heerlijke wijnen verzorgd door Ronald: zeker doen!

We had an amazing time at João's house. Various nice spots to have late summer dinners. The house remained cool despite very high temperatures and during the chilly nights, it surprisingly was very pleasant. Very convenient location.

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

This house is an absolute paradise! It is so cozy, and makes you feel right at home. There are so many special little touches, and the patio, view, and yard are unbeatable. This is such a magical place to spend some time in the countryside.

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits au mois de Juin. Le logement est situé dans un endroit très paisible avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. La seule ombre au tableau est le clocher qui sonne toutes les 30min à partir de 6h du matin.
