the amenities were absolutely great. very thoughtful touches. however like the other reviews said, the bed is very noisy and creaks at the slightest movement. also no curtains on the patio door makes you feel exposed. cute coffee shop and an indian restaraunt called india place made makes it a good option.

This was a delightful place to stay in Sintra, full of character and cozy ambience. It lies in a great location for visiting Sintra's many historic sights, or just relaxing on the private back patio. Very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and portable space heaters provided, if needed. Fully stocked kitchen if you choose to cook. Be aware there is no overhead shower with shower curtain, so you adapt just fine by getting in the gorgeous, deep tub and using the spray wand. Nice soaps and lotions provided. The tub "saved" me by soaking sore muscles after a full day of walking on ancient stones all day! Willem is a most gracious host and very accommodating to flexible checkout time. He and Riaan are great communicators through every step of the reservation process and for making helpful recommendations for ATMs, restaurants, etc. I hope to stay there again!

The best Airbnb I had stayed... The ambience is really special and Paulo cares about the details to provide the best home experience to - Cook - Work - Rest at home - Enjoy the view Also the location is great to go to eat something great near by and go to the beach by walk.

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

Stunning Penthouse with an Unforgettable View! I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible penthouse in Cascais, and I can honestly say it was one of the best stays I've had! The apartment is beautifully designed with modern finishes and tons of natural light. But what truly sets it apart is the view – it’s absolutely breathtaking! You can see the entire coastline, and watching the sunset from the terrace is something I’ll never forget. The location is also perfect – just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and the charming town center. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing us with all the details we needed for a smooth stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Cascais. Will definitely be back!

I was so delighted to be able to roll my luggage right off the train and down a short bit of sidewalk or two right into my apartment ! No taxi needed . Everything you could want is a short 3-15 minute walk . Right in the old town area with history all around - while being entirely private and secure when nestled back in the apartment feeling away from it all , yet in it! Rui accommodated my luggage for me ahead of check in so that I could be free to wander before check in which was priceless and for the Cherry On the cake I met his mom who let me in and showed me around … offered delicious Portuguese wine and sweet pastry…. Part of my trip here was in honor of my mom and it just meant so much to me to have that mom energy. Also meaningful to me was that this is locally and family owned and great care was clearly taken to make the place as lovely and accommodating as possible . Great stay:-).

Joana’s place worked really well for our stay. Convenient location, lots going on, easy for taxis to drop off and pick up, great outdoor space and amenities in the apartment. Very responsive and helpful host. Thank you!

Monica is definitely the best host we have ever known. She is extremely nice and helpful. I remember we arrived to her place late at night because we drove from Madrid, and she was communicating with us until late night. She made us feel like family. She is always ready to provide very useful information about where to go, what sites to visit, her recommendations were never disappointing, on the contrary we were very happy with all of them. Nice places to eat, to visit, to enjoy a show. She was available to us all the time. Her place is lovely in all senses, decoration, cleanliness, fully equipped and very modern; lots of sunlight and at night a very quiet place. If you come with a car, keep in mind that there is no parking assigned and you will have to find a spot by yourself. If we ever go to Lisboa again, we certainly would love to stay there again. Thank you Monica for helping us to make our stay in Lisboa really enjoyable!

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I've ever had. Sofias apartment is so beautiful, flooded with light, super clean and in a great location. For my first visit to ericiera, im so pleased to have found Sofias property. I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend :)

Amazing stay here at Roberto’s place. He was very kind and met with us when we arrived to show us around. We used the parking spot in the garage below which was perfect for us. The location was very quiet and also convenient access to the supermarket downstairs. Not too far to Uber easily into Lisbon center. The apartment is beautiful! The art, the spaciousness, and the atmosphere are perfect. We enjoyed the space and Roberto’s thoughtful touch. It was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed to be very comfortable. Great stay- defintely recommend!

What an amazing stay in Lisbon. We could not ask for a better apartment and location to stay in. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The space was very clean and spacious. It was beautifully designed and full of light. They provide you with ample supplies for anything you may need. There is also an Aldi right up the street for anything you may need. Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment is bright, modern, and spotless. The check-in was easy, and the host was highly supportive. There are good public transport connections around. Within walking distance, there are beautiful places to enjoy next to the river. I highly recommend Eren's apartment to other Airbnb customers.

This is truly an amazing place, and Iza was so friendly, helpful and responsive. I couldn’t recommend it more and we hope to return someday! Guests should be prepared for a short but steep walk to get to the apartment from the ferry which takes you to Lisbon. The apartment was sparkling clean, had everything we needed and wasn’t cluttered with things we didn’t. The kitchen was well appointed, even had spices we needed to cook, and Iza was kind enough to have some snacks waiting for us. She also accommodated us checking in early because our flight arrived in the morning, and offered us great recommendations during our stay. We couldn’t ask for more; truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had.

We had a great stay at Chiho & Nuno’s place. The apartment is spacy and located in a quiet street. We also appreciated quick and helpsom communication during our stay. Would definitly reccomend this apartment when planning a trip to lisbon.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

We were in Ricardo's apartment for the third time. He has completely renovated the apartment this year and installed a brand new kitchen and laid new flooring, and the electrical appliances in the kitchen are also new. The roof terrace is beautiful. In the evening, you can relax beautifully in the whirlpool. The apartment is superbly located for sightseeing in the city. Next door is the Lidl supermarket and in the same building an Auchan where you can perfectly cater for yourself and barbecue on the existing roof terrace. A big plus and extremely rare is the underground car park with a parking space for the car for excursions. There are no outdoor parking spaces in Lisbon and that is why there is a parking space in the underground car park. Perfect.

Great apartment in great location. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the sunshine and people watch. Really good to have a parking space although narrow entrance and exit. Really good sushi restaurant in the complex. We had a lovely stay.

Staying at Ana and Jorge’s place in Lisbon may be the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. They are super responsive and make sure you got in and settled. The listing is also very convenient to buses and metro, and doesn’t take a long time from the airport either. An ALDI and Auchan are nearby and the street is quiet at night. The listing was clean, comfortable, and was large enough that we felt we had enough personal space while we were there. But what really sets Ana and Jorge apart is how much they care. We were greeted with homemade food made by Ana and Jorge, left for us for when we arrived and they brought us something else to try later in our stay. It was all delicious and really shows how much they enjoy hosting guests. I highly recommend Ana and Jorge as hosts and this listing is perfect for a trip to Lisbon.
