Holiday rentals with a patio in Alexander County

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

The home was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were huge and everything was so clean and luxurious. We were so pleased to stay here; it was a huge upgrade from a hotel.

What a beautiful little nook nestled alongside a tranquil lake (may technically be a river but seems like a lake)! I needed some peace and quiet to work on a project and even though this place is technically the lower level of Pam's house, it provided completely quiet and serenity. The adorable gated community provides great opportunities for casual strolls and a quaint little park with swings and a fireplace. I really enjoyed my stay, enjoyed my conversations with Pam and found this brand new AirBnB to be absolutely worth the price.

Ann’s place was perfect! I have already recommended to our family members when they travel to the area. Her directions and explanations were spot on. We were traveling with our little one and had plenty of space and felt like we were at home. We can’t wait to stay again!

Micah’s place was perfect for our soccer tournament. The location is ideal. There are several great restaurants located within a few miles of the apartment and the grocery store is right across the street. The apartment was really spacious and super clean. My daughter especially loved the little hidden nook next to the living room. It was her favorite hangout spot.

What a lovely Airbnb ! John was an excellent host! His wife made a Banana Nut loaf bread for our arrival. And it was delicious! John shared some fresh eggs from their chickens and my husband devoured them!! The unit is neat, modern and clean! There is everything one needs in the kitchen and bathroom from towels , linens , shampoo and soap . A great big living room TV to watch movies on and a bedroom TV . The leather couch and chairs are comfy. The bed was extremely comfortable and I am fussy as I have several chronic back issues . I was relieved and delighted!! Alot of thought and care goes into this downstairs basement apt . This location is convenient to several key cities and towns. It is roughly 75 miles from Ashville, Hickory is only a few miles. Blowing Rock , N.C. is about 30-35 miles . ( a must !! ) An excellent restaurant in town is owned by a family member and does not disappoint! Highlands Butchery . We would stay again when traveling or visting Valdese area.

Great location and exactly what we were looking for while passing through Hickory for a night. Jeff has very responsive and check in and check out were seamless. The place was clean and roomy, and the bed very comfortable. I highly recommend Jeff and Tina’s place if visiting Hickory!

We had a wonderful stay from May 20- May 25, 2025. Everything was just like the pictures promised. The sunroom & back porch with the rockers were great additions. Location was convenient to our family in Hickory, NC. Hopefully we will be able to stay there whenever we come to NC.

Absolutely loved our stay! The Airbnb was exactly what we needed—secluded, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Surrounded by nature, it felt like a true escape from the hustle of daily life. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up to make us feel at home. The quiet atmosphere made it easy to unwind and recharge. We’ll definitely be back!

I definitely recommend staying at Tabitha’s BNB. Very clean and peaceful. I love to cook and there was everything I needed to cook. The home is very cozy and a great place to stay. I would definitely book with them again.

Everything was just as advertised. Very clean home, comfortable beds and nice furnishings. The neighborhood was clean and established, and we felt very safe. If coming back to the area, we would definitely stay there again.

This is the ONLY location I’ll book when visiting Lenoir. I’m a native, and unfortunately family is far and few in between, but this location is wonderful to be able to stay and support when I’m home for a weekend, or when I just want to swing by. The hospitality was phenomenal and I can’t wait to book again in the future. God Bless!

William’s instructions were very clear. Had no issues, so no reason to text or call him. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in all faucets, very hot water, we had all we needed. Only thing negative: the backyard fence is open in two different areas to adjoining yards. Neighbor dog visited one morning so I had to be very careful going out with our dog. Would have been very helpful for those areas to have been closed. Area is very quiet even though is located on a busy street. No issues with noise at all. We appreciate William renting his home to us.
