Beachfront holiday rental in Alburgh

It had everything I needed and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Anne Marie even had a fire going in the fireplace for my arrival. Even though this spot would be ideal in the summer because it's right on the lake, I found it to be very beautiful and comfortable in the dead of winter. It was plenty warm, and easy to get in and out. I couldn't be happier with both the home and the host.

Beautiful lake house! Beachfront area was wonderful for all water activities. Easy access to the Champlain Islands which had tons of fall activities going on. House is loaded with everything you need for cooking and clean up.

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Gorgeous place. The cabin is a real treasure in nature. A very cozy place, also very clean and had everything we needed. The road to get there is also very easy. Scot is also very responsive and of great help. Looking forward to be back.

We had two perfect spring days. The cottage was a perfect place for us to explore from.

Sarah’s place is warm and cozy, even when it’s bitter cold outside. A beautiful location next to a lovely creek. Easy to get to and located right in town with some good amenities and restaurants.

Very nice place. Well setup and stocked. Very comfortable house and bedrooms. The host had clear instructions and was very responsive communications. Location is really great with the lake right across from it. Summers would be very pleasant here.

Great place to stay right outside of Burlington. (Visiting my daughter at UVM) Easy to get to and plenty around to do. The scenery was amazing- took some beautiful pics of the sunrise and sunset! Kitchen had everything you need to cook a nice meal. Beds were comfortable too! Would stay here again!!

Karen’s cabin was a dream getaway for us! From check-in til we (sadly) drove away, we kept wanting to make sure we spent time around the cabin, pond and around the beautiful property to soak it after hiking, visiting restaurants, and driving into town. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed four our stay. The heat worked great, especially on the colder nights. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. Everything was accessible and we even enjoyed the decorative elements too! The property was beautiful and we had a lot of fun walking around on the little well maintained paths, having a little fire by the pond, and just enjoying the quiet. Karen gave us restaurant and hike recommendations, made sure our check in went smoothly (since we got in late in the evening), and even reached out to give us a heads up about ticks in the area. She was super responsive, and we would love to come back and visit on what would now be our engagement anniversary!

Linda's place was perfect! It was very clean, was just like the pictures, and very well designed -- just really beautiful. It is right on the lake and we took full advantage of the outdoor space as well as the kayaks and paddle boards. Linda was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. We would highly recommend her place!

This was our second time staying at Darcy's place, and we came back for a reason! Excellent location, far away enough to feel private, but still close enough to a lot of different towns and things to do. The cabin is cozy, clean, and well equipped for a lakeside getaway. As the listing mentions, this cabin is not insulated so it can get chilly. We were there on a pretty chilly fall week (40s and rainy), and found that the electric heaters and extra blankets worked just fine to keep us toasty. Just bring some extra layers to wear while they get running. The outside patio and firepit area were gorgeous, though we didn't get to take advantage due to the rain-- something to look forward to for the next stay!

Beautiful lakeside location. Large TV, cozy couch and fireplace. WiFi speeds sufficient to work remotely. Large kitchen with the essentials, good fridge/freezer, good stove/oven, but no dishwasher. There are neighbors along the lake but it is very quiet and serene. Josie was responsive to questions. Would stay again.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

our family of 4 with younger and older kiddos stayed for a week at David's place and had a wonderful time. the cabin is perfect, well appointed (kitchen had everything we needed and all the spices which is so great!), close to large grocery stores and other conveniences, and oh so cozy which made it feel almost magical. the cabin was quite warm and very well insulated. we would definitely return!

Lovely home and would 100% visit again. The porch sitting over Lake Champlain is one of a kind - we saw many of the surrounding properties from the water during our time in Essex and I don’t think there’s another porch in town with that type of water view - can’t beat it! We spent 10 days in late August with our 3 yr old daughter and some grandparents in/out over the course of the visit. The home was perfect for our getaway. The hosts, Lisa and John were flexible and welcoming. The space had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen was great and we cooked many meals at home. The open kitchen/dining/living floor plan is perfect for spending time together and so cozy… all alongside an unbeatable view.

the pictures absolutely do not do it justice we were looking out at a beautiful painting from every one of the windows it was more quiet than any other Airbnb we've ever been at truly looking forward to coming back again Adam was a great communicator and cared about everything gave us great advice on where and when to go and was completely flexible have no words to describe how beautiful our stay was it was a great value
