It’s a nice, clean, and simple house in the Locust Lake Village Community. In the Community, there are three lakes: Pine Lake, East Lake, and Locust Lake. At each lake there's a beach, playground and picnic area. If you have children, they will love it there.
“We enjoyed a long-term stay at Agnes' house. It was spacious, comfortable and nice for our group. The location is really lovely. The community is very safe, with several lakes and beaches in close walking distance. As others have noted, the wildlife is fun to observe. Agnes is a wonderful host- very responsive and attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our return!”
Our Log House sits in the middle of the Poconos. Every season has something to offer. So peaceful during snowy winter seeing all the foot marks from animals crossing our property. Minutes away from ski area or water park. Enjoy the hot summer days taking the advantage of few minutes walk to the lake for fishing. Visit community beach, pool or just sit on the covered porch looking at the rain coming down. Fall is absolutely breath taking in Poconos. Close to many Pocono Attractions.
“Heda's log cabin is absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend to anybody wanting to vacation in the Poconos. The house itself is large, with several rooms to accommodate guests. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable. Kitchen has all the essentials for cooking. Lovely deck out back with an excellent gas grill for cooking. Peaceful views, very quiet neighborhood, and lots of wildlife, including deer, rabbit, various birds, and squirrels. The basement is huge and has several games for entertainment, including ping pong, billiards, chess, various board games. The loft space has several DVDs and video games. The main living space feels very spacious due to the high ceilings. Main TV is equipped with cable, DVD player, as well as a Roku to access streaming services. The house is part of a development that has shared amenities, including a pool, a small beach with a roped-off swimming area in the lake, and boat rentals. This is all located within a 5 minute drive within the neighborhood. There were multiple restaurants located nearby with takeout service. Also, only a short drive away from Hickory Run State Park. We enjoyed our stay and would look forward to coming back again in the future.”
Very comfortable, second floor, 2-bedroom condominium with space for 7 people (King Bed, 2 twins, sofa bed and cot), with panoramic views of the 175-acre Big Boulder Lake. Just bring your skis or summer gear for summer or winter activities (private pool and hot tub during summer), biking and walking trails and separate boating, kayaking and other activities available for fees from Boulder Lake Club. Near Split Rock and Jack Frost, and easy driving to Kalahari Water Park and other attractions.
“Ken's Place is a great, peaceful and serene place. Beautiful condo on the lake with a great view. Boulder Lake Club & Restaurant is a 5-10 minute walk on a path. Host Ken was extremely easy to communicate with and 100% on target with all information that was given to me from the moment I inquired to the moment I left. This area has a lot to offer -restaurants, swimming, boating, Boulder Field, Hickory Run State Park (2 hikes to awesome falls) and then a 30 minute drive to the Town of Jim Thorpe. Ken thanks for a much needed getaway for both myself and family. I will be back again in the future.”
