We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

Our family of four (two kids - 6 and 3) statyed at Pine Lake Lodge for 2 nights over President's Day Weekend after having to leave another AirBnB that didn't have any heat (!). The transition could not have been starker: Pine Lake Lodge was as an oasis of warmth, comfort, and aesthetic beauty all around. The pictures really don't do it justice -- there are huge windows overlooking a pond and a big, spacious, high-ceiling open-concept dining room/kitchen area with a fire place. The place feels lived in, in a good way -- with family pictures and mementos all around -- but they have also decorated it beautifully and added all kinds of nice touches, like a record player and a great collection of records to play. The hosts were also flexible with our need for a late checkout on the final day. We had an absolutely wonderful time and hope to return in the future.

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Loved the location and the stay. Great communication. Just keep in mind they designed this for people who travel for pleasure. If you are a working contractor with a larger vehicle then you will have to park in a spot next door. Not a huge deal, just prepare for a long walk.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The kids loved the pool and running around outside, the views were beautiful, and Sarah was such a welcoming host. We are looking forward to coming back!

Everything about this property is pure magic. There is not a bad view in the whole house. Hosts were super responsive, helpful, and prepared. If you’re thinking about booking this place, just do it.

This cabin is a hidden gem in the woods near Shenandoah—peaceful, stunning, and surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful escape with breathtaking views, this is the place. Photos don’t do it justice. One of the most serene stays I’ve ever had.

My fiber splicing team stayed here and felt right at home, it was a pleasurable location to relax after a long days work. Thank you for the hospitality.

Sarah couldn’t have been a better host. She’s so nice, accommodating, and understanding. She had the place clean as a whistle and is very responsive. Lots of space, comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings. There are lots of bathrooms, too and privacy. She was the best!

WOW. Cannot begin to express how perfect Jennifer's home was. I hosted a bachelorette party of 14 girls and we were all blown away. Not only is the house beautifully decorated and fit us all so comfortably, but the attention to detail was outstanding. From the drawers labeled with everything we may need to the sweetest, most thoughtful welcome bag and snacks. We all agreed this was the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in and are so grateful for Jennifer!!

The house was spacious, very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and we appreciated the ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. The mattresses were very firm, but in good shape. Communication was great with Hunter. We would certainly stay here again!

Lora’s home was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated having bedrooms on different floors as this gave us a way to spread out. Loved hanging out on the screened porch in the evening.

Such a peaceful, beautiful and comfortable home near the river. We felt like honored guests in Patricia's home. She provided amenities and even some delightful snacks that we enjoyed. The home was tastefully decorated and the beds and linens were fresh and comfortable. And, the home is near our favorite winery in Lovingston. We can't wait to go back!

What a great house and location! So much personality. The location is so easy to access Charlottesville, but also feels very secluded. It is in a very quiet area and even has a river view. If you want marble and stainless steel this is not for you. If you want cozy, charming, comfortable, and inviting, this is your place. Jen was great and we had a blast. Highly recommended.

Our weekend girls' trip getaway to Susanne's pastoral family homeplace was absolutely wonderful, as this property is truly its own point of interest! While all bed/bath/kitchen provisions were top notch and well exceeded a typical amenity checklist, the thing that comforted us the most was a warm and open welcoming into the doors of this historic family home. From classic furnishings and sturdy wares, old photos and whimsical trinkets, interesting nooks and mysterious crannies, peaceful porch seating and delightful cow parades, abundant trees and beautiful flowers... we felt like we were right at home. Although we could have been perfectly content staying parked on the property our entire stay (and may plan to do just that for our next visit) we opted to enjoy a lovely drive for a day hike to a stunning waterfall in Shenandoah National Park, and went in to Charlottesville for some shopping on the pedestrian mall. We 100% recommend this historic property and Susanne's warm hospitality!

Judy was very welcoming. The home was super clean and had all the amenities needed. She even baked us delicious blueberry muffins! The home sits on the mountainside in a beautiful location. And although it is near a busy highway, the traffic noise was not noticeable. Very easy access to the highway leading to Charlottesville and only a 25 minute drive. This home is in the heart of wine country with about a million different wineries as well as distilleries and breweries- not our thing, but if it is yours then this is the place to be.

Our stay was so wonderful and relaxing! We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch area and the birds visiting the feeders! Our entire group enjoyed comfortable beds, spacious rooms, a kitchen well-stocked with pans and cooking utensils and an extensive selection of games! Our hosts were gracious and communicative and provided some wonderful recommendations to area wineries! Would love to book again in the future!

Our stay was very enjoyable. We were able to have the entire family in one home while there was more than enough space for people to take time for themselves. The scenery is better than words can describe. There was a grass cut path to the pond making it easy to locate.

Towler Farmhouse was very clean and charming, decorated nicely, furnished well including things like paper towels, TP, soap, etc. It was so close to the many places we wanted to visit. Ashley was extremely responsive when we had questions. She gave several helpful recommendations about the area. Everyone in our group said they want to stay here again. The only downside was no bathroom upstairs, made it a little harder for those who need it in the middle of the night, but won't stop us from returning.

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location- a minute or less from downtown Crozet restaurants and shops and very close to many nearby attractions- less than 5 minutes from Pro Re Nata Brewery and less than 10 minutes to Septenary and King Family wineries. The beds were very comfortable and the two full bathrooms were great upstairs. The house was well stocked with spices and a full kitchen. We had a question about turning the heat on and the host responded almost immediately via the app- communication was great!
