Family-friendly holiday rentals in Albania

If you are ever in Durres you need to keep an open mind, specially if its your first time. Also, if you decide to travel to this beautiful place you really need to stay here! The apartment is really comfortable, beautiful terrace, but most importantly Ariana and her husband have a travel agency…they will help you with ANYTHING! They set up for us a personal driver, helped us select the best places based on our time there and it was all for the best! Also not expensive at all. We chose to have the personal driver but they have many many options depending on how much you want to spend. If i knew this before I got there I would have stayed more nights and enjoyed this BEAUTIFUL country. Honestly, dont think about it, stay here, stay with Ariana and let her and her husband take care of you and your family.

Flutra was very kind and the comunication was wonderful. The basement was clean and we had everything we needed. I am happy that i was able to stay in such a beautiful basement. Thank you very much!

Een week hier geweest met 6 personen. We genoten van de rust, ruimte en een onvoorstelbaar mooi uitzicht, die missen we nu al. Het is erg privé, dus je kan er 100% jezelf zijn. De communicatie was fantastisch. Altijd gelijk reactie en enorm behulpzaam. Ze doen er alles aan om het iedereen volledig naar de zin te maken. Instructies zijn duidelijk en compleet. Veel info over wat er allemaal te doen is. Vanaf de villa loop je in 6min naar beneden, waar verschillende restaurants zijn met goed, betaalbaar eten(€70 voor 6p). Ook een gezellige supermarkt van 2 broers die tevens onze taxichauffeurs waren tijdens onze vakantie. North taxi is niet te missen als je hier verblijft. Elke betaalbare rit maken zij er een feestje van en staan altijd gelijk voor je klaar met leuke ideeën om je vakantie compleet te maken. Shkodër is een gezellig stadje, op 20 min rijden. Albanie was de 1e keer, maar we komen zeker terug. Bedankt voor alles!

Het is een mooie accomodatie met een heerlijke jacuzzi! de communicatie met de verhuurder verloopt soepel. De route naar de hoofdstraat is steil. Voor onze kindjes was dat een pittige klim. Een fijn verblijf met zeer aardige verhuurder.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. it was cozy, clean, and perfectly located. Luigi was incredibly helpful and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommended!

Vše bylo v naprostém pořádku. Poloha přímo v centru, poblíž zastávky autobusu na letiště. Hned vedle brány příjemná restaurace. Byt odpovídal popisu, nic nám nechybělo. Artan byl velmi nápomocný, děkujeme a rádi se vrátíme.

The villa was so lovely! Ndricim was flexible with last minute travel changes and the building staff were super friendly and helpful for check in! The view from the balcony was so beautiful and peaceful to sit outside.

Нам дуже приємно було перебувати в апартаментах Лаури. Квартира дуже зручна, є все, що потрібно для життя, і навіть більше. Було дуже чисто, приємна чиста білизна, дуже зручна кухня, дуже багато якісного посуду. Навіть деякі продукти були, це було приємно. Квартиру ми знайшли швидко і легко туди потрапили. Лаура нам дала чіткі підказки як це зробити. Дуже дякуємо Лаурі за гостинність, за довіру та поступки, на які вона ради нас пішла. Рекомендуємо з радістю ці апартаменти.

Our stay at Spyros’ apartment in Saranda was everything we could have asked for. Clear instructions on how to get to the apartment and to self check-in, and Spyros was available via chat for any questions we had. The apartment was clean, tidy and well decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. The apartment faces the sea with a lovely sunset view and is perfectly quiet at night despite being within a few minutes walk of the shops and restaurants nearby. The AC was good, which is a must in Saranda’s heat! The apartment was the perfect base for our day trips to Gjirokaster, the Blue Eye and Butrint and we had everything we needed nearby. Thanks again for a lovely trip, we hope to visit again one day!

Fantastische locatie, prettige communicatie met Gasper. Goed huisje, met kleine maar heerlijke douche. Kleine keuken, maaltijden maken waarschijnlijk een beetje lastig, maar met veel goede en goedkope restaurants in de buurt, hebben wij dat niet gedaan. Er is geen tuin, maar een gezamenlijke binnenplaats. Je kunt gebruik maken van een parkeerplaats bij het huis. Wij vonden deze echter zó krap en risicovol dat wij betaald ( €3,- per 24 uur) hebben geparkeerd bij de kerk op 200 meter. Tip: Fisi Restaurant om de hoek op Bulevardi Skënderbeu.

Wat een cadeau dit huis en vooral deze tuin!! De tuin is zo mooi en groot. We gingen alleen naar binnen als het 's avonds buiten te koud werd. We genoten iedere dag van het mooie uitzicht en van de prachtige zonsondergang. Voor onze Golden Retriever was dit ook heel fijn. De tuin was helemaal afgesloten, dus hij kon heerlijk vrij rondlopen en altijd een schaduwplek vinden. Wat vooral opvalt is de liefde waarmee deze tuin wordt onderhouden. Overal bloeiende planten, We mochten fruit van de bomen plukken: zoals citroenen en sinaasappels. Binnen is het gezellig en schoon en het bed slaapt heerlijk. Toen we aankwamen stond de vader van Anita al op ons te wachten. Hij leidde ons door huis en tuin en legde alles uit. Een vriendelijke man. Communicatie liep verder via de telefoon. Dat ging snel en prettig. Piqeras is nog een authentiek klein dorp met veel kleine winkeltjes en 2 restaurants. De taverne tegenover het huis is een aanrader!! Kortom: een aanrader!

Stay at this place was amazing, really recommend picking this place, it was clean, house is very nice and owner of the place is very helpful ☺️ also we didn’t even need to use car or public transport because localisation is close to most important places in city, also bigger market is available 2 min by walk 😄

It was lovely to stay in this studio apartment in the peaceful garden of a super friendly Albanian family. Drane prepared a local meal for us and gave us lots of treats! It's a good base for the local area - we explored lots but also walked into the local town and enjoyed coffee in the square :)

Super séjour à Ksmail grâce à Léonard et sa fille. Toujours dispo, super serviable, ils nous ont bien aidés pour tout ce qu’il fallait au quotidien. La maison était propre, spacieuse, calme, bien placée, proche de la plage et de tout les commerces. Rien à redire, c’était parfait. On recommande sans hésiter !

Fantastic apartment in a great location amongst bars and restaurants. Host was super helpful and responsive to any queries about Sarande. Highly recommend staying here. Views and sunsets are sublime.

Vi blev desværre forsinket på vej til Almas bolig. Men det var intet problem, Alma var der til at tage imod os. Hun er meget sød og utrolig venlig. Lejligheden var perfekt. Vi kunne gå ned til byen og stranden. Lille supermarked lige overfor lejligheden. Poolen var dejlig, den var saltvands pool. Ikke noget problem med solsenge. Vi manglede dog en skarpkniv i køkkenet og en brødrister. Men ellers var alt bare perfekt. Vi vil gerne besøg stedet igen

hôte très sympathique, réactif et disponible. le logement est grand, parfaitement propre et très agréable avec cette grande terrasse donnant sur la piscine et la baie. Les jardins sont très beaux. le seul point négatif est l'environnement extérieur à la résidence avec de très nombreux chantiers de construction. Pour ce qui est du logement et de la résistance tout était parfait et la piscine était déjà fonctionnelle au 18 avril ce qui a enchanté les enfants.

Die Unterkunft war super. Der Pool und der Ausblick sind fantastisch. Kol hat uns sogar nachts um 2 Uhr in die Unterkunft gelassen und war immer gut zu erreichen. Die Lage ist auch sehr entspannt, man kann von hier an den See, nach Shkodra und ist auch schnell in den albanischen Alpen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub und eine perfekte Unterkunft für alle, die nicht unbedingt in einem touristischen Hotspot und einem generischem Apartment landen wollen. Gerne wieder :)

A really great place to stay in the area, close to some nice restaurants and a 24h supermarket. The place was fairly difficult to find at night but Ledia was very helpful in navigating us and sending directions. A very clean and beautiful home, and the amenities such as the pool and parking were great, but no beach as mentioned. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay for short or long term stay.

Todo perfecto. A pocos pasos están todos los restaurantes y la playa pública. Las Privadas también y para movernos por el país fue perfecto. Durres nos gustó bastante más que Tirana.

Spacious and amazing balcony views. Well equipped apartment. Slightly dated but very comfortable. The resort and attached hotel is lovely. There is an additional charge to use the pool or beach access. Great communication with host. We had a little struggle with getting in the lock was a bit tricky but host resolved very quickly and was not a problem once we figured it out! Lots of shops, restaurants etc very close by. On main strip and you can get local buses to Butrint and Ksamil. Host shared lots of tips and hints. The views were amazing. I would rebook without hesitation.
