Beautiful Luxury Victorian near San Francisco, Beach, Oak

Bring the past back to life in this updated historical residence. The house features original architecture details, a neutral color scheme, contemporary and antique furnishings, contrasting textures and patterns, and an outdoor dining area. Parties are not allowed. This is a beautiful Victorian house built in 1908, with delightful vintage details throughout, and recently luxurious upgrades from top to bottom. It is decorated with French Country theme. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and welcoming. House is equipped with high speed internet (free wifi), flat screen TV, and wash/dryer. Guests will have access to the entire house and the garden. I am a very easy going person. Every guest will be respected and be cared for during their stay. Absolutely no problem if you break a dish, a glass, or accidentally scratch a table or spill something on the carpet. Things are meant to be used and guests should live freely during their visit. I live in Santa Clara, 45mins south of Alameda. Not onsite most days, but always available by phone or text, and will give guests immediate attention. My kind neighbors Dean and Stacy offered to help in emergency situations. My grown up son, Sean (25), lives half miles away from the Airbnb is able to help as well. The home is in a charming neighborhood where people are very friendly and welcoming. It is walking distance to Webster Street, filled with restaurant and shops, and a few minutes walk to the Crown Beach with miles of trails and stunning views. The Victorian house is convenient and central located, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, 7 miles to Oakland International airport, 4 miles to Coliseum, Oracle Arena. Going to San Francisco, 12 miles by land, you have the options of taking the ferries, Bart (Lake Merritt Station) and bus AC Transit Route O (Santa Clara/9th bus stop, a few minutes walk) https://sfbaytransit.org/actransit/route/O Party is not allowed and quiet time is 9:30pm.

Begin the day in a bathroom with a rain shower, twin vanity, and tiles from Spain. This well-lit garden studio has a queen bed next to french doors that open to Juliet balconies. Recently remodeled with new contemporary finishes, this spacious studio has an open floor plan with lots of natural light. The french doors open to give the studio an indoor / outdoor experience. It’s a perfect spot to read on sunny days or have a glass of wine on warm evenings under the stars. The modern bathroom has a new rain shower head, tiles imported from Spain and a washer and dryer. Follow the pathway to the many restaurants, markets, and bars on Grand Avenue, with Trader Joe's and many other shops also close. Visit the historic Grand Lake Theater and the Morcom Rose Garden, and walk the picturesque shores of Lake Merritt. The home is walking distance to Lake Merritt and all the great shops and restaurants on Grand Avenue - one of Oakland's best commercial strips. 19th Street BART stations is a quick bus ride (10 - 15 minutes on the 21, which leaves less than a block from the house) or a Lyft or Uber ride away. Lyft line usually costs under $5 per ride from the home to any of the BART stations in Oakland. There is parking for one car available at the entrance to the studio. The home is also walking distance to Lake Merritt and all the great shops and restaurants on Grand Avenue - one of Oakland's best commercial strips. 19th Street BART stations is a quick bus ride (10 - 15 minutes on the 21, which leaves less than a block from the house) or a Lyft or Uber ride away. This is a 1 bedroom, one bath duplex in a great neighborhood. Although its a 1 bed unit we do have a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a pack-n-play crib for a infant. Its great for a couple or a family of 4 who would rather have access whole house rather than squeezing into a hotel room.
