Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Alameda

This place really lives up to its name - Urban Oasis. It should have the word paradise added to the description. I was looking for a place to host international guests and wanted a place which they could rest and have some privacy as they recovered from jet lag. As a local resident, I found it hard to believe that such a beautiful location existed so close by. The backyard reminded me of Hawaii. It was so beautiful and serene. Albena has gone above and beyond with all her unique decorative touches, supplies for the home (from phone chargers to best selling books). We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was stocked with pots, lots of dishes, and cooking utensils and supplies. Albena was so warm and friendly and super responsive and had some great tips for what to do. I even learned a few new things. My guests would have been happy to just stay in the home and enjoy it rather than venturing out to SF. I've already recommended this place to friends. It's so delightful!

We had wonderful time at Heather and Steven’s home. Both are just great host’s, very helpful and proactive, communication was just quick and great. The home was easy to find and everything was as described. The location is fantastic, short walks the grocery stores, Bart and nice cafes. We are locking forward to our next stay with Heather and Steve and can just highly recommend this location.

I only wish I could give more than five stars. Words can’t begin to describe our host. Without exception. Forever grateful for the superior level of kindness and hospitality. Thank you Michelle and Ryan.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Melissa's home. The kitchen had everything we needed to make at home meals, the patio with garden was stunning, comfortable beds and super clean. I love that they are a no shoes household and even provide little slippers. Will definitely be going back!

This was a trip to visit our two adult children who live in San Francisco and South Bay. We loved having a place for the family to gather in the bay area for the weekend. We traveled to a couple of places north of the bay and in San Francisco and otherwise had a nice family weekend. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. One concern was the temperature on the day we arrived-it was unusually warm, there is no A/C and it was pretty warm the first evening. We opened the doors and windows and used their fans to cool the place down by evening.

Needed to stay near the Presidio and Springer’s apt checked all the boxes. The bed was very comfortable and the apt was quiet even though it was on a commercial street. Lots of restaurant choices, bakeries and Trader Joe’s within walking distance. We also walked to Golden Gate Park. While we didn’t have to interact with Springer, it was nice to know she was near by in case we needed to.

We recently stayed at a quaint Airbnb that offered a unique combination of vintage charm and contemporary amenities. From the moment I arrived, I was taken by its characterful architecture, reminiscent of a bygone era. The exterior spoke volumes with its classic brick façade and delightful front porch adorned with cozy patio furniture. Upon stepping inside, I was welcomed into a homey living space that beautifully maintained its historical essence while incorporating all the comforts of modern living. The original hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams whispered tales of the past, creating an inviting warmth that modern builds often lack. The kitchen was a modern with stainless steel appliances yet there was a sense of nostalgia with the charming farmhouse ambiance. There were 6 beautiful patios and tall trees surrounding the house providing lots of spaces to enjoy the outdoors. We give it 5 stars ⭐️ plus accommodation.

The house had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

I’m a repeat customer and hopefully will return again in December. I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at Renée's. It was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. The place was spotless and the garden was beautiful. Communication was great and we appreciated the offer to check in early as we were driving around with luggage. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location, easy to check in late. I'm glad they provided fans since it gets warm during the day but cooled down rapidly when we got back.

Our AirBnb stay was wonderful - great location, super walkable but still on a private/quiet road. We would highly recommend staying here! The place was clean and comfortable.

Ottoline’s place was safe, comfortable, peaceful, and clean. It was perfect for our weekend in the area. Otto was very helpful and responsive, and the place itself had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and kitchen was great to make food from the Whole Foods nearby. I would highly recommend.

From the extensive vinyl collection to the categorized bookshelf — from the skylights to the city panorama, there’s nothing that this loft doesn’t provide. The apartment was a perfect landing spot after a long day in the city and a restful environment for simply chilling out. Looking for a delicious dark roast paired with a fresh cheese danish, check out the bodega located right down the street. As for our host, Terri was a delight to communicate with. She made checkin/out a breeze and her personal touches of decor made it feel like home. Will come back to this Air BNB again no doubt.

Parents came to visit Berkeley, the place was great for hosting them. Joe was responsive and the place was super clean and well equipped!

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

My friends and I stayed at Seaon’s home for about a week and we felt right at home. It was a cozy spot with a beautiful outdoor porch and garden to hang out in. There was enough beds for four adults and a baby. Seaon was very easy to communicate with and also responsive when we discussed anything regarding the house. The neighborhood was fairly quiet during our stay which is always nice. We drove to Oakland, San Francisco, and parts of wine country from the house and found it to be in a good central location. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for somewhere to stay with your group.

Beautiful neighborhood. Many walkable trails and parks with access to the Bay Trail. House is large and comfortable (great beds) and spotlessly clean. Large private backyard and very close to the tennis/pickle ball courts and pool. Only complaint is that the kitchen was not well stocked for our two week stay. We needed to borrow cooking implements and equipment from our son who lives in the area. But overall, a wonderful property and would not hesitate to return.

Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

The house, especially the backyard, and the neighborhood in which it is situated, are stunningly beautiful. While guests do not have access to the master bedroom, the price for the rest of the house is well worth it.
