Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Akron

Host was wonderful to deal with! The house was large, well decorated, and there were plenty of towels, paper products, etc. The space was great! The only comments I have for future travelers are 1) I’m pretty sure the neighbor has a flock of pet geese (yup) that like to start quaking around 5am daily, and 2) not sure it’s the best part of town. Both of these things are out of the Host’s hands though and I found the Host really great! We were close to restaurants (Akron Family Diner is the bees knees) and the University of Akron - which was the reason we were in Town.

I think this is my new go to place when I visit Cleveland! Very easy trip downtown and to other neighborhoods I visited, nearby stores and restaurants, cute and quiet neighborhood. Sara has so many thoughtful and lovely details in her home- dogs treats, toys and bowls (I didn’t bring my dog but missed him while I was there), coffee bar, extra bathroom items in case I forgot something, and and a beautiful, private back yard with furniture. I didn’t cook, but the kitchen seems well equipped. Love the furnishings! I highly recommend Sara’s home. Check in was super easy- they sent me the door code before I arrived.

This is the second time I have stayed in Robert's house. He is a fabulous host. He has thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. A gorgeous house with a wonderful yard. Thank you, Robert!!!!

cozy place and very clean. Only stayed one night. Very walkable to grocery store and restaurants. Easy and very quick to get Lyft to downtown. Would stay here again!

We had a peaceful, lovely stay at Eden’s place. Felt right at home and had quiet relaxing night sleep. Would book again!

Jill And Victor's place was perfect for our overnighter in Cleveland. It is in walking distance to a wonderful pizza place called Il Rione. The neighborhood is quiet and people are friendly.

Dorothy’s place was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 5 weeks. She was responsive and helpful throughout the stay. We didn’t experience any issues. Would recommend for a short or long term stay in the Cleveland area.

Lovely welcome for us and for our little dog. We had bitter cold and lots of snow; Barry kept walks clear for us as well as clearing a swath of lawn for our little dog. We appreciated the filtered walter too.

Location was as described and exactly where we needed to be for a night at Playhouse Square. Great location, fun building. Our weather was warm, so the rooftop hang out was fantastic!! The couch was comfortable but could use an end table to put your beverage on while sitting. The bed was very comfortable and had two pillows per person - love that! Clean, white, crisp sheets. We would stay here again.

Charming stay!! Spotless! The only issues were the knives were very dull they just need sharpened and we thought for the cost, the jets on the hot tub were not strong at all. Otherwise it was very relaxing and much needed!!!!!

We had a great weekend away at a beautiful location! The house was comfortable and had all the amenities it listed and more. We were able to go out and shop all day and then come back and cook in the large kitchen! It is truly where we spent most of our time! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! We loved the fire pit out back and appreciated the amount of wood that the house had! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you again!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, one teen, and one child) just returned from a 3 night stay at the loft. The space was as described: beautiful, spacious, and clean. We had issues finding parking and with the noise level from the bar downstairs (live music until midnight or later on Mon/Tues/Weds nights), but that’s not the host’s fault…just something to be aware of. The place is in walking distance of many great restaurants. Heinen’s is a must-visit (weird to say that about a grocery store, but it is spectacular) and Progressive Field was less than a 5 min walk.

The cabin was exceptionally clean and cozy with a lovely view. It felt more private than we were expecting based on some of the other reviews we'd read. The hosts were very responsive and they provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We definitely agree that everyone should get donuts from Miller's Bakery and pancakes from Boyd & Wurthmann - both are the best we've ever had!! Another thing worth mentioning is that the fitness center at the Berlin Resort, which was included in the stay, has a fantastic strength training area.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was very clean, well-kept, and exactly what we needed. The view was amazing, and the location couldn’t have been better, we were within walking distance to the arena, which made it perfect for me and my family. The host was also very responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Charise & Scott were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were visiting family nearby and this was the perfect place for us and they were happy having the family visit and use the outside space. Very comfortable accommodation in great surroundings. Thank you very much for a great stay.

So clean and nice extra bed downstairs was awesome fit all of us comfortably ! Extra lotions and anything you could possibly need in the bathroom kitchen stocked as well backyard is beautiful loved this house and would absolutely stay again’

Very comfortable, well-appointed home in a great neighborhood!

We were in town for a brief conference so we didn't stay for long. From arrival to departure, we had a wonderful experience. Amy was wonderful to work with, very friendly, and the home was exactly what we hoped for.

It was wonderful! We choose to stay here for a weekend getaway for our one year olds birthday. Loved how peaceful and safe the area made us feel. Felt like home from the time we arrived. House had all the amenities and more. Truly a beautiful home away from home .

Our stay was great and exactly what we needed. We really enjoyed the back yard and patio. Lindsay and Mike are great hosts and very responsive. I asked to extend our stay by a few hours and they were able to accommodate our request which was so helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

Very cute house, conveniently located in the western suburbs of Cleveland. House was very clean and organized.

I can't say enough. Beverly's place was amazing. Beverly was on top of everything. the remote quit working for the TV. no fear Beverly had it handled with her informative menu of house stuff. lol Honestly I didn't wanna leave. What a lovely home and I can't wait to come back again real soon to visit family in the area.

Cozy and comfortable spot near Willoughby, OH. The two rooms were clean and nicely set up, with a full bathroom that had everything we needed. The backyard was a great bonus—perfect for relaxing. Overall, a pleasant stay!

My family and I had a lovely stay at Mindy’s place. The house is comfortable, cozy, and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. Though the train tracks are right across from the house, a train only passed by in the middle of the night once in the 4 nights I stayed there (something I was a little concerned about, as a light sleeper, but it really wasn’t an issue!). I also really appreciated learning about Mindy’s grandparents’ connection to the home, in a booklet she made for visitors :) I would happily stay here again if visiting Akron. Thank you Mindy!
