As nature lovers in search of tranquillity, we acquired this old farmhouse nestled in a green setting, surrounded by pastures, a pond and a stream. We have completely renovated the main house and carefully fitted out the barn. The outdoor improvements are not yet finished (facade and courtyard), but the place is already very pleasant. The accommodation is located in Bouvancourt, a charming little village 20 km from Reims.

Maison Marcks Champagne | Old Town Ay

It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. Maison Marcks is a comfortable and exclusive home to stay in while exploring Champagne and its many legendary vineyards.

This peaceful home offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. Located 20 minutes from the Reims (North) entrance and 2 km from the Reims–Laon SNCF line, the house is part of a farmhouse complex with a separate entrance. In the surrounding area, history enthusiasts can visit "La Caverne du Dragon" located twenty minutes away and, closer, the site where the first tanks were used. Variscourt is a quiet village where it is pleasant to walk along the canal that runs alongside the Aisne.
