In addition, the château is located 4 minutes from Bjørgan ski resort, 10 minutes from Grong city center and with Formofossen and fishing opportunities in the immediate vicinity, there are opportunities for nature experiences all year round. Short distance to forest and field, is one of the things that makes the château a magical place for recreation and rest.

Newly renovated little house with fantastic views

Newly renovated main section of a farmhouse, secluded on the property, offering a wonderful view of Verdal and the Trondheimsfjord. It's perfect for two, and with the guest bed, there's room for one more. There are horses on the property that can be seen from the house. We enjoyed our stay here with the whole family; no traffic passing by the house. If you would like accommodation for more than three people, it is possible to rent an additional studio. Option to rent a stable for a horse if required. Close to the E6 (3.6 km), Verdalsøra (3.9 km) and Stiklestad

Cabin located right by the water

Renovated cabin with an added living room in summer 2025! The porch is finished, but the railing is missing. NB: The railing is missing! The cabin has a lovely view of the lake, where it offers trout, sea trout, char and salmon. Floating jetty right below the cabin, where you can swim from. Bicycle trail outside the cabin in the summer, ski trail (occasionally) in the winter. Excellent area for mountain hiking and hunting. Svortstranda is about 800 m further away, popular for children. Free access to a shared sauna which is also located next to the cabin.

Idyllic guesthouse on farm with boat rental

Welcome to our guest house at Namsenfjorden. We are pleased that people enjoy their stay here on our farm. They give feedback that they find peace and that the place has a lot to offer. In the guest house it is nice to just be, or you can go in the woods, on the mountain, along the highway or explore the sea life (boat/canoe/kayak) and try your luck at fishing. The guest house is small and cozy. Suitable for you traveling alone, but also for family/group, see photo for sleeping places. The house is available for private use. Pets are allowed.

Here you can enjoy everything the mountain has to offer with ski in/out, hiking trails and lazy days both indoors and outdoors. The cabin is located in Grong Ski Resort. In the ski resort you can enjoy 4 lifts in winter, as well as an eldorado of cross-country ski trails. In summer, it is possible to play frisbee golf or go mountain hiking in the resort. Right below the facility it is also possible to drive go-karts!

The mirror suite offers a stay close to nature and with a fantastic view. Suite because it contains everything you need for a good stay, and more than that. The mirror suite has a mirror function in two walls. You can see out, but no one can see in. Not even the wild animals, birds, foxes or moose that wander by. You live centrally, not far from the store and people, but still completely for yourself. Lovely bathroom with shower and hot water. Private wood-fired sauna in a house nearby. The atmosphere can only be good.

There are 2 salmon rivers right next door and great areas for walks and hunting. REMEMBER!! Duvet cover, pillow case, bed sheets, and towels must be brought.

LOOKING for the Old Steamboat in the Old Steamboat Captains Old Steamboat OutLOOK ... But to put it straight at once; -this is a dead simple shack almost sliding into the breaking waves of the dark deep lake full of annoying trout wakes and paralyzing wet whisper under the floorboards to seduce you straight into nirvana... unless the awkwardly kitschy sunsets starts feeding your insomnia. But don't panic, you will not experience something like this every day. So every minute counts...
