Holiday rentals with a balcony in Aegean Islands

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. Natalia and Christina were so welcoming! The place was perfect. Plenty of space, clean and quiet. The windows have shades that come down making bedrooms dark at night. They have a brand new washer/dryer and dishwasher. They left us a bottle of wine, some milk, orange juice, water, butter, coffee, tea pretty much anything we needed. Oh also a fresh big bowl of fruit and pastries. Just to the right of the apartment is the main walking drag of the Plaka. What is nice is the apartment is on the very edge of it so it is quiet. There is also an elevator if you cannot walk up the stairs. They are on the 3rd level. The beds were comfortable, they have plenty of pillows and even top sheets if you do not use duvets. Two rooms were queen beds and two they made into king beds. They gave us restaurant recommendations :-) also there is an amazing restaurant just two doors down called Grande Dame Athenian Tavern. We had a lovely stay!

I am staying for the third time in the apartment. And I surely will stay there again. The hosts are extremely welcoming, the apartment is spotlessly clean, has everything and one really feels at home (I certainly did). Many thanks to Konstantine and to Mr Zarkadis, his father, for the kind hospitality and for being extremely supportive.

This apartment is in a great location, close to the metro which made it very easy to get around Athens. The host was very responsive and gave great recommendations! Highly recommend staying here!

מקום קסום בפלקה. מצד אחד בלב העניינים והכל ניתן להגיע ברגל, מסעדות וברים מתחת לדירה אבל יחד עם זאת דירה שקטה. לא שומעים רעש למעט צלצול פעמוני הכנסייה שליד. הדירה נותנת הרגשה של בית, עם עיצוב עכשיו מצד אחד וארונות עץ של פעם שהשאירו בחדר שינה ובמטבח וינטג׳ מול עיצוב עכשיו הדבר היחיד שהמרפסת של הדירה פונה לבניין חנייה אבל מחדר השינה יש נוף אורבני יווני וזה נותן הרגשה שהגעת הביתה

Roi ist ein toller Gastgeber, die Kommunikation mit ihm war schnell und super freundlich.Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, geräumig und wohnlich. Es ist alles da, was man für einen Städtetrip benötigt. Die Lage war toll, es gibt viel zu entdecken. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und nicht sehr touristisch.Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in Laufdistanz gut erreichbar. Die Anbindung an den Flughafen ist auch gut. Besonders gut haben uns der lokale Markt gefallen, den Roi uns empfohlen hat. Die Tipps von Roi waren sehr hilfreich. Danke Roi für den tollen Aufenthalt- super dass du jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar warst. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This was my first Airbnb experience and I was really impressed. Konstantino replied to all messages in timely manner and was able to set transportation services during our stay that made arriving a departing super easy. The place is incredible. I couldn’t believe how perfect the views and area surrounding the building were. All the main sites were easily walkable. Our kids said the couch was really comfortable, so sleeping 8 people isn’t an issue at all. I would loved to come back to Athens and stay again someday.

Spacious and nicely furnished place, exactly as described. Very clean and well kept. The hosts were easy to communicate with, all information available when needed. Would stay here again!

Evi’s place is spacious, well-equipped for families, and the bed was super comfortable! The garden was a hit with the kids who would play there every morning while we had our morning coffee outside. We had everything we need from beach towels, beach toys, a baby high chair, baby toilet seat, mosquito repellent, and more..! Evi is a great host and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable, like helping us find a taverna that delivered late on the night of our arrival, or bringing us some homemade kalitsounia. We really appreciate the hospitality and would come back anytime!

Welcomed on arrival and shown around apartment. Ideal for 2 couples each with own access. Perfectly located for popular tourist attractions, restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. The view of the lighted Acropolis from the rooftop at night created the perfect end to each evening. Highly recommend!

Anna’s place is such a great location. We walked everywhere. If you are reading this review and need a place with a few bedrooms and want to visit the heart of Athens, book this Airbnb. Great communication from the host and lots of recommendations of where to eat and find everything we needed.

Our suite was beautiful and very clean! Our host left us lots of amenities which came in handy. Kostas was super friendly and went out of his way to help us get the most out of our stay. He had great suggestions and helped us navigate the island. We have nothing but great things to say and we can’t wait to come back and book with them in the future! 🩷

We had a fantastic stay at Marios’ place. He was a great host—always responsive and helpful both before our arrival and throughout our stay. He was also incredibly flexible, kindly allowing us an early check-in and late checkout, which made our trip even more relaxing. The house itself was spacious, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Super comfortable and perfect for unwinding. It’s a remote location, which is exactly what we were looking for—no nearby restaurants or supermarkets, but that was by choice. Athens was just about an hour’s drive away, which made for a perfect day trip. We didn’t end up going to the nearby beaches, but the pool and direct ocean access were amazing—refreshing and private. Quiet nights, beautiful surroundings… exactly what we hoped for. Only small suggestion would be to improve the internet speed a bit—but other than that, it was perfect. Highly recommended!

We loved this Airbnb! It’s in a fabulous location - right in the middle of everything, but as the immediate area is closed to vehicle traffic it is very quiet. There are great restaurants and cafes right outside the door, and the rooftop patio was a great place to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom layout was perfect for our group of four. Antonia was a wonderful and very helpful host. We highly recommend this place!

Der Check-In war bei uns aufgrund der Flugzeit verspätet, aber wir konnten problemlos mit der Schlüsselbox reinkommen. Das Apartment war sehr sauber, alles war vorhanden und die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Der Pool war grandios und die Aussicht von der Dachterasse zeigte zum einen eine Aussicht auf die Berge und eine Aussicht auf das Meer. Frosso war eine so liebe Gastgeberin! Ich konnte sie immer gut erreichen und sie war goldig! Und kleine Katzen gab es auch auf dem Grundstück, die sich gerne streicheln ließen. Super happy und würde jederzeit wieder hin. Vielleicht als Anmerkung: ein SUV ist ganz praktisch für die Einfahrt zum Parken auf dem Grundstück. Tieferliegende Autos würde ich nicht empfehlen.

Our stay in Old Town was an absolute dream. Nestled amidst the charming cobblestone streets and historic architecture, this home perfectly captured the magic of the area while providing all the modern comforts we needed. The location was unbeatable — just steps away from iconic landmarks, quaint cafes, and bustling markets. The home itself was beautifully preserved, with touches of its original character shining through in the exposed beams, vintage windows, and tasteful decor.

Veldig fin plassering i forhold til gamlebyen, Plaka og akropolis. Smakfull innredet koselig leilighet. Litt vanskelig å finne parkering for leiebilen, men det ordnet seg. Vel verdt våre to netter i Athen. Anbefales!

Loved the location, a few minutes walk to the Metro Station in one direction, and to the supermarket in the opposite direction. The parking space was useful when we didn't want to drive out. The entrance lock was high-tech. Lots of power sockets around the place, and lots of extra towels provided. Yannis was kind enough to give us an early check-in and a late checkout, which was much appreciated. The place was very spacious and comfortable and Yannis even provided bedroom slippers and a sewing kit. We were met by his associate at check-in, who showed us around. There were bakeries and cafes around the area. Would definitely recommend the place.

Bill and John’s flat worked out perfectly for us. Nicely appointed and tidy. Alex greeted us and checked us in a bit early. He is incredibly friendly and helpful — one of those people who is instantly likable. The location of the flat cannot be beat. Walking distance to everything that we wanted to do. I have never experienced water pressure as fabulous as the shower at this flat. Be careful when turning on the hot water because it gets unbelievably hot. Everything was perfect. The washing machine is very handy. There is not a dryer, but we were able to hang our clothes and they were dry the next morning. The kitchen is well appointed but you will probably go out to eat since there are lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood. The bedroom is on the backside of the flat and faces the incredibly quiet courtyard. The bed is very comfy. We would definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to our friends. P.S. There is a place on the next corner that sells the best baklava!

highly recommended, a small flat in the heart of Athens. Our hosts were very friendly and always responsive, easy to check in, 10 minutes by taxi to the city center.

As a local boy originally, I'm very familiar with the location, so I knew it'd be exactly what I was after. The place itself was very large, super clean, and with all the great amenities and standard. We were able to leave out bags to pick up later too.

I had a really late check-in around 1:30 and Dimitris was there to open and show me the apartment along with insightful instructions for the area.The apartment was clean, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. Our host was responsive, friendly, and made also check-out flexible. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!

Good place, clean, nice location, fairly quiet. Comfortable bed. We had a good time. Two minor issues: there was construction nearby and there was a bit of noise in the morning (though closing the balcony door reduced it significantly and it was not an issue) Second minor issue that is fixable, the shower door is slightly problematic, it can get off its rail easily and then it’s a bit problematic to open and close. Overall, these were minor and when taking into account the price this is still a 5/5.
