The bedroom has a wonderful view of meadows and pastures. Hallway with kitchenette and toilet/shower. The buildings are surrounded by lush forest glades with a rich birdlife. A short 700-meter walk to the jetty by the lake. On the island, you will find the UNESCO World Heritage site Hovgården, rune stones, and history dating back to the Viking Age. At Gamla Prästgården on Adelsö, a Hilma af Klint Center will open in 2025.

Barn converted into a home

Create new memories in this unique and family-friendly accommodation. There is a beach with a swimming jetty at the sports ground, which you can reach by car in 7 minutes. There are several hiking trails on the island and the possibility to take a boat over to the island of Birka. Cafe Hovgården serves good lunches and good coffee. See more on their website. Then we have Runstensparken with its flea market within walking distance of the house. Adelsö shop, which is a grocery store, is open on weekdays from 10 am - 7 pm and on weekends from 10 am - 3 pm.

The house consists of a double bedroom with sea views, sleep with the window open and hear the waves. Social room with fully-equipped kitchen, sofa and armchairs. Patio in two directions with both morning and evening sun. There is a small pebble beach directly adjacent to the house, 20 meters from the house there is also a wood-fired sauna that you can borrow.
