The ground floor is a shop area and storage for my business which you must pass thru to enter the apartment. The main house is in front of the barn where we live. The property is 6 acres of fenced land , currently have chickens and two small horses a dog and a cat which you are free to interact with

35 private acres of forest on rolling hill terrain. Lots of wildlife nestled very close to the flat river; 30-40 minutes away from Grand Rapids. The Fred Meijer trail provides great biking or hiking opportunities. Lazy float tubing or kayaking down the flat river is very popular and only a short walk away. Horse back riding, golf courses, and an amazing local bakery all within a couple miles. And a fun sport court (basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton/pickelball net all right on site!

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

This house is a beautiful getaway. The hosts are very attentive and kind. Our room was clean and even came with lots of extra goodies like snacks, cookies, water, local beers, coffee, and cut up water melon in the mini fridge. Even though you share the home with the hosts, you definitely feel like you have your own space to relax. The outdoor lake view is amazing! We cannot recommend this place enough!!

Brooke and Heath were AMAZING!! We booked their place for one night to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. It was us plus one more guest, 3 total. The bed was comfortable. They provided towels. The hosts hung out with us while also being respectful of our space. They even shared some food they grilled. They were helpful and understanding. I will DEFINITELY be booking here again, way worth the 3 hour drive we made to get there. Thank you guys so much for being so amazing. Keep up the amazing work! 🫶

This was a very nice place, and we sat on the porch each morning and drank coffee and watched a Doe and her fawns in the nearby field. We also saw a pair of sandhill cranes with a chick foraging in the fields. The coffeemaker worked great and was stocked with several kcup choices. It was very quiet and we slept in after a late concert! We highly recommend this place.

Maureen’s home was a perfect driving distance from all of the places we were planning on visiting. Everything seemed to average between 10-15 minutes. Maureen was very hospitable as well. I highly recommend her location for anyone visiting Grand Rapids. Great price and great location.
