Opende is located in the Friese Wouden. The Airbnb is on our property on the border of Groningen and Friesland. Hiking and biking are possible in the nearby nature reserves Alde Feanen, Bakkeveen, Beetsterzwaag and Lauwersmeer. A day trip to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog is also easy to do. Culture can be found in Groningen, Leeuwarden and Heerenveen (about 25 min). Surhuisterveen is about 2 km away and has a shopping center with supermarkets, restaurants and all kinds of shops. You must arrange breakfast yourself.

Wij hebben een gastenverblijf wat een stootje kan hebben, in die zin, geen moderne en strakke aankleding maar omdat ik heel erg ben voor recycling hebben we ook het appartement veelal ingericht met gebruikte spullen. Voor kinderen vaak vooral een paradijsje Nooit zullen we meedoen aan het programma B&B op TV. Gasten moeten ons nemen zoals we zijn, Een boerderij in bedrijf waar erg hard wordt gewerkt, elke dag, en waar wel eens een strootje of waterplas op het erf ligt. Waan u terug in de tijd.

Het huisje beschikt over een hout gestookte sauna met kleurentherapie en een houtkachel. De slaapkamer bevindt zich boven. Dit is 1 grote ruimte met twee 1 persoonsbedden en één 2 persoons bed. Het huisje heeft uitzicht op een vijver en weilanden waar paarden, geiten, kippen en eenden verblijven.

Walden ligt temidden van het unieke coulissen landschap de Friese wouden. Bomen, heggen en houtwallen omzomen de weilanden. Met daartussen graslanden, water en stukjes bos. Het ziet er knus uit, die grasvelden tussen de bomen. Smûk, zeggen we in het Fries. Hier leven wel 250 soorten vogels en veel andere dieren. Vanuit de ijstijd kreeg het gebied ook nog eens pingo’s cadeau. Gelegen temidden van 2 Nationale parken; Lauwersmeer en de Alde Feannen. Ideaal fiets en wandelgebied.

Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. Op Berkensteijn is het genieten van rust en ruimte. In het mooie coulissen landschap van de Noordelijke Friese Wouden met heerlijke fietspaden en wandelpaden! Ons huisje heeft een slaapzolder met een 2-persoons bed (140) en in de woonkamer is een bedbank die ook gebruikt kan worden voor 2 personen. Let wel: het zijn geen gescheiden slaapkamers. Tot slot: wij zijn heel flexibel dus vraag naar de mogelijkheden.
