On the back there is easy access to the Pine creek for kayaking, inner tubing, swimming, etc. This is an old cabin with lots of wildlife, insects and a small indoor shower in the bathroom. It is not luxurious, modern, or trendy. We have used it as a hunting cabin and a retreat from the fast pace of the world. You will want to bring regular size sheets, towels, toiletries, etc. Pets not permitted.

Everything was as advertised. The wall of windows in the living room is the star of the home. This was a relaxing, peaceful, comfortable, spacious retreat. The view is lovely. We often kept some windows open, and song birds could be heard regularly. The home has a unique vintage vibe which we love. Great price. Highly recommend.

Fantastic tiny home - was perfect for a weekend to go hiking and stargazing. You can absolutely get great views from the backyard, and the home is a great jumping-off-point for hikes and activities all throughout the area. We will probably stay here again!

A clean, comfortable home in a remote location, perfect for stargazing. We were looking for a place that was close to Cherry Springs State Park, and this was definitely a great choice. The house has four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, but did not feel too big. The patio offered a clear view of the sky, and wood was available to use in the outdoor fireplace. Use caution if traveling here in winter, as a lot of surrounding areas are snow-covered and icy. As others have mentioned, please follow the directions that the host provides and do NOT rely on GPS. We downloaded the Google offline maps ahead of time for the area, but followed GPS and ended up on some slippery, unmaintained roads. The host provides instructions that keep you on paved roads the entire way.

Jennifer was very accommodating for our spur of the moment trip to see family. Her place is something you need to visit at least once. It is charming with all of the "retro" decor and very well thought out. Her arrival instructions were extremely helpful and clear. I would 10/10 recommend and definitely would stay here again.
