Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Aarau

There were three of us in the Stadthüsli. It was a very nice place to stay. We felt very well taken care of and would definitely be happy to come back!

We loved Villa Celeste. It was exactly as pictured and the location was easy to access Old Town by bus. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood and we were glad it was away from hectic tourist areas, but close enough that it wasn’t a hassle to get there.

Very nice and cozy place. Super (small) child and family friendly. Lots of things to play with, indoors and outdoors. Loved it. Communication with Andrea was also great. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Lorian and Team House is a fantastic place to stay :) The location is incredibly convenient, with everything within walking distance—tram and train stations, several grocery options, and even the airport is just a short distance away. Despite being next to the rail tracks, the house is impressively quiet inside. The house itself is charming, with a well-maintained, vintage feel. It’s ideal for groups, as it offers six spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms. One note for accessibility: the bedrooms are either upstairs or in the basement, with small steps, so it may not be ideal for those using a wheelchair. However, for everyone else, it’s absolutely perfect. Highly recommend! ! !

The two great apartments were the rescue for our group of 9 people and 1 dog, after our booked house at FeWo turned out to be an uninhabitable fake. Beatrice and Jacques welcomed us at short notice, and made the apartments available even earlier after the departure of the previous users. Both hosts are very friendly and helpful and both apartments are comfortably furnished. Due to the large, warm living room, it was easily possible for the whole group to cook, eat and play together. The location of the apartments is convenient for walks in the nearby Vosges and to visit Colmar. I would fully recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the hospitality.

We are very satisfied with Lucie, a nice, charming host who we were also able to meet in person. The house was also impeccable. Everything tip top clean and well maintained. Bathroom perfectly clean. Maja was friendly and available, lives upstairs and passed by to check everything was good and make any needed arrangements. There was extra care in little details, like leaving some swiss snack on the table for when I checked-in, and personalizing a welcoming note on the door. The place felt to me very much like home, is very peaceful (no cars/ streets noise if you have the window of the bedroom and kitchen closed), the window from the bathroom fazes the garden and you can hear the birds from there in the morning, it was lovely. Everything was clean and had a nice, clean, neutral smell. The kitchen had all I needed and more to cook every day, the bed was very comfortable to me, and there were lots of options of lights (different dense/ light curtains and smaller and bigger lamps), which gave me the freedom to personalize the atmosphere. The location is ideal, conveniently close to Zürich's main station and the bus stop, making it easy to embark on trips. It's also within walking distance of tram stations and surrounded by excellent restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hosts were supportive as well. All in all good experience.

very comfortable bed, accommodating with a dog (special apartment with dog bed, bowls). we would have preferred a couch instead of two lounge chairs. but at least they were comfortable. clean, and the kitchen had most essentials (although oil was missing). very quiet side street, but still just a short walk to the train station, restaurants, supermarket. the communal lounge was very nice to work for a few hours after check out. self-checkin and goki app worked fine. highly recommend and would stay again.

Spacious apartment with all necessities, conveniently located near public transportation and grocery store. My two weeks there were very enjoyable. A five-minute walk takes you to the bus, which brings you to the center of Bern in ten minutes. Or in the other direction, the bus takes you to Koeniz, where you can find numerous shops. Veronika was very helpful whenever I needed anything. I will definitely stay there again! Thank you.

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

Cozy and at the same time very modern accommodation. Supermarkets ect can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. The smart home concept with control of the interior takes a little getting used to, the blinds just open at 7 o'clock, if this was set beforehand, but of course you 😆 can set everything as you want, with e.g. music in the bathroom. The induction stove is also classy. If you have any questions, the host is always available, which is a big plus. Glad to come back!

Very beautiful, by the Rhine, very close to the Rhine Falls. The owner's cat is very cute and welcomes guests!

The apartment was perfect for our family holiday. Right on the first time we entered, the four of us felt comfortable. The kids enjoyed discovering the garden as well as all the games, books as well as the painting and crafts. Bakery, butcher and supermarket are within walking distance, so we were always happy to start the day with fresh delicious rolls. With Malene and Wilfried, you are lucky enough to experience wonderful hosts who leave nothing to be desired and have equipped the apartment with a lot of love for detail. Very nice apartment in a quiet residential area

Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!

We had a wonderful few days, enjoyed the terrace with the beautiful view and the garden. The rooms were very nice and the beds comfortable, the apartment was well equipped and the kitchen included everything you need - sufficient for many fellow travelers. Gerhard was super friendly and accommodating and made us a great offer. If we travel to the area again, we will definitely book with him again.

Great place and location, very recommend

Nice place to start your holiday if you are heading south. Spacious apartment with a double bed and two spacious sofa beds. The sofas were already neatly made for us. The surroundings are very beautiful. Unfortunately we could not use the playground equipment outside, because there were cars parked in front of it. There were some nice children's toys in the room. The children could play with these inside, which was a nice bonus.
