I really enjoyed my stay. The place had lots of light and a great view. There were several restaurants nearby and easy grocery shopping. It was nice to come back from a busy day to a quieter neighborhood and hear birds singing.

The flat is small, of course (Paris!) but very well laid out and furnished. The main floor is sometimes a bit dark but this is a worthwhile trade-off given that the entrance is directly onto a quiet, leafy courtyard; in addition, the bedroom above has lots of light. The flat was scrupulously clean and tidy. The street and neighbouring streets are all very quiet, but just a few hundred metres away are streets full of a huge variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants. There are two excellent restaurants next door and one door down from that. The nearby park is large and really pleasant, with a used book market and an amazing theatre. There is a street market twice weekly on the main street a few blocks away. It appears that the neighbours are all residents; they are quiet, friendly, and very helpful. The flat may seem to be far from the centre when seen on a map but it is not; Paris (the 20 arrondissements) is not very big, and transit is amazing.
