The Cottage at Gilbert Landing

This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 or 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $95 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

Cozy Cottage is located in one of the most charming little towns you have ever met❤️ We are in the foothills of western North Carolina and a short 20 minute drive to Tryon International Equestrian Center. We are one hour to Asheville, NC and the Blue RIdge Parkway. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park are within 30 minutes also. The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

The cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from the city, while only 10-12 minutes from the charming town of Lake Lure and scenic Chimney Rock. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home including a new Sealy king memory foam mattress. We clean it ourselves and are taking extra time and care now to sanitize all surfaces between bookings.
