Great location to explore Sydney's main attractions including Opera house, Harbour bridge, Darling Harbour, Bondi beach and George & Pitt Streets where major retail brands resides. Just a short 15-minute walk to Sydney's CBD and a 7-minute walk to Kings Cross Station. The famous Opera House is only 30mins scroll away. Some of Sydney's major attractions such as Darling harbour, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Bondi beach, Sydney Fish Market, Rushcutters bay, Wooloomooloo Harbourside, Barangaroo Waterfront and Manly are easily accessible. Public transportations (includes trains, buses, light rail and ferries), Taxis, Uber, GoGet and car rentals are readily available in the immediate vicinity. I highly recommend grabbing an Opal card for all Sydney Public Transportations as it will save you time and money (pick up at any train station counter or kiosk with the opal flag, free of charge just requires minimum $10 top up). ** Please note, parking is NOT provided, and I do not recommend renting a car as Sydney central is limited and parking fees are absurdly high. However, if you require parking, there is paid street parking as well as paid parking near by, from AU$50 per day (both options subject to availability) which you will need to arrange yourself. There are limited free street - parking available after 10pm and before 8am. I highly recommend using public trains/buses/ferry to get around, however, Uber/ Taxify, taxis and GoGet are other options (for Uber use promo: uberTinan37 for first timers and save $5 or for Taxify: HX47Q and you can save $10 on your first ride). You will be required to download the app and register first. *** Please book under your own Airbnb account - will not accept reservations on behalf of others.*** * Smoking is prohibited in the apartment & building. Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. I'm available on email, text message or by phone (if I'm not in a meeting!). I pride myself on being responsive. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Take in ocean views while relaxing in total comfort in this secluded, leafy hideaway. Escape the crowds for a longer stay in peaceful surroundings only 1 hour from the city centre. A lovely self-contained apartment with sunlit rooms decorated with easy elegance for relaxing and taking in the view. An easy 10 minutes walk to beach, cafes, restaurants and stunning bush walks. Public transport can deliver you and delivered-to-the-door public transport. Whilst being situated in a secluded spot away from the hustle bustle, public transport can now deliver you directly to our door. Guests have separate entrance to their apartment. You will occasionally cross paths on the driveway with hosts, Emily and David- happy help you with any queries should you have them, but of the general understanding that you need to just get on with the business of having a holiday. Guests are always greeted on arrival, with a bottle of wine and a welcome selection of appetisers and breakfasts to start your holiday off on the right foot. Happy to assist if you are dairy and/or gluten free. We have an excellent, well-equipped kitchen for longer stays and are happy to point you in the right direction for local specialty fare. As is the case for many spots with great views, access is via a short but steep driveway. Parking is safe and always available. Due to enquiries, we now have an extremely comfortable queen sofa bed which is very easy to return to a sofa during the day. Pictures still being updated. Please contact for more details. Wifi is available, as is a bookshelf with books, board games and DVDs which can be played on the large television. You have your own clothesline, and hose to wash off sand after a swim. The sunny outside table is great for sunset drinks or dinner. Relax at home, or spend the day exploring this beautiful area- see online guidebook or booklet compiled with all the great things to do here. We are happy to interact where needed. If needed, contact for anything is initially via text. We are extremely respectful of privacy. Stroll to Whale Beach for a swim or exercise, bushwalk along some of the coast’s most dramatic scenery; take in the view from the lighthouse above Palm Beach or just retreat to your secluded hideaway to cook up a storm and take in the view. This delightful part of the world is just a walk from Avalon village, or you can choose to have supplies delivered. You can come here by public transport easily - only 10 minutes walk from the L90 bus stop. If you drive, please park opposite on the street outside (the driveway is quite steep and needs practice!). It is easy to arrive by public transport bus, the L90 and E88, which are about ten minutes walk uphill, alternately we can arrange to give you a lift from here if the timing is arranged beforehand. There are also excellent airport shuttle bus services that will take you straight to our door from the airport. We are walking distance to Moby Dicks for weddings and a very short drive to Jonah's. Keep an eye on our whalebeachescape social media page for our regular special deals. Young/small families welcome: we have a portacot, toys, books and dvds for your young ones :) If you wish to bring your baby/child, as we've found many happily have, we ask you to please "baby-proof" the space on arrival- you are far better at knowing what your little one can get up than us :) We are happy to provide a portacot if needed, but ask that you supply your baby's familiar bedding :) We advertise "5 beds" because small families with a child have enquired about this with reasonable regularity. We can supply a trundle bed which is made up and fits under the queen bed. We charge an extra $30 per person. The sofa bed is a new addition which can have an extra 2 people. Please note, the trundle bed needs to be set up in the bedroom or sitting room. You need to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, so it is not for everyone, but it probably makes a place with a view and walking access to the beach better value.

Our spacious, bright and airy apartment is perched high on the South Bondi end amongst the gum trees. Its the perfect base from which to explore beautiful Bondi Beach, local cafes , bars and restaurants with the stunning coastline via the ocean footpath walk minutes away. Spectacular Sydney Harbour is a 15 minute walk away with access to the CBD a short and stunning Ferry ride away! All this and more is so close and easily accessible. Inside it is light and bright! Fresh paint, new carpet and 2 very comfortable queen sized beds plus a very comfortable queen sofa bed located in the lounge room. We also provide a privacy screen to turn the large living area into another bedroom and still have a living area. Our garden is very appealing with BBQ, ping pong table and comfortable garden furniture. ***FAST FREE WiFi*** Five minute stroll to Bondi Beach, ocean pool, cliff walks, shops and cafés. Located in a beautiful, quiet tree lined street. No access limits. The flat is self contained, private accommodation with your own private entrance and garden. The wheel chair access is quite good and there is a half step into the apartment and 1 step out into the yard. We have a disability chair to make showering easy on the outside of our shower/bath. You will be very happy in our apartment. We are very happy to help you settle in as required. We can offer advice on where to go for the best restaurants, shopping or kids parks! We live in the house above and will be happy to assist with local knowledge to make your stay enjoyable. Our neighborhood is friendly and surrounded by beautiful Australian Flora & Fauna. We are so close to both famous coastal beaches and harbour walks & a large selection of cafes & restaurants. Catch a Ferry into the city from Rose Bay Wharf ( 5 min drive) for the best view of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House from the water. Francis Street has great access to public transport as Bondi Road is only 2 blocks away. All public bus transport to the city is via Bondi Road. If you drive, parking can be a problem in Bondi as there is a two hour parking limit in Francis Street and many surrounding streets during the daytime. So this means you must be careful not to get fined. Please always check parking signage, there is unlimited (All Day) parking a few streets up towards Bondi Rd. You are safe to park at night from 8pm till 10am sharp the next morning, this means you will not be fined between those hours. There is also a website called Parkhound if you want to secure a parking spot. Housekeeping... There is No smoking, candles, incense or any naked flames allowed in our apartment. We have a clothes washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience but if the sun shines please save our environment and use the portable clothes lines provided for drying. The apartment is professionally cleaned prior to all guests arrival, with fresh bath towels, beach towels and bed linen. Please contact us if you wish to use the Sofa bed for any last minute added guests as we need to make up the bed with all our sheets and mattress protectors for hygiene reasons. Each 5th or 6th guest is $50 per person, per night. If your booking is for 4 guests or less and you want to use the sofa bed as a bed, then it will just be a flat rate of $50 for linen. We thank you for your honesty regarding usage of our sofa bed and for using the correct bed linen for hygiene. Should you wish a cleaning service during your stay we can book our cleaner for you. Please advise this requirement at time of booking if possible please and note a $180 fee for a full clean and linen change will apply and is payable in cash. Regarding gatherings we prefer small groups with a maximum of 10 seats provided for indoor outdoor dining. Also there is to be no commercial filming unless permission and an added fee for using our location is negotiated. This includes YouTube & Instagram posts for personal promotion.

Beach Bungalow Studio with Cozy Patio

This studio style bungalow is located in the heart of Bronte close to public transport, the beautiful beaches of the eastern suburbs (Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte & Clovelly including the world-famous Bondi-Bronte coastal walk!) as well as being a 2min walk to great cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Fitted out with modern decor & finishes it feels both warm & inviting as well as having a designer feel. In addition, there is under-floor heating ensuring warmth through the cooler winter months, as well as air-conditioning and a fan for the warmer weather. We live on the same property (separate house) and are available for anything our guests may need. We have 2 young active boys so you may occasionally hear them playing but your space is accessed by the rear lane-way and we do not share your living space so it’s very private - all our guests comment on how very quiet it is, which is due to the location on a rear laneway rather than a main road with traffic. The only traffic that enters the lane is for the residents of our street. We leave you to do your own thing, however are very happy to assist whenever required. Bronte is among the most beautiful suburbs of Sydney, with beautiful beaches and parks yet a short drive to the heart of the CBD. Bronte has an array of fabulous cafes, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. The home is also near Bondi Beach. Yes, there is bus transport just a short 2min walk from the bungalow. Car-park right outside the front door (free) - not common in the eastern suburbs of Sydney! Under-floor heating Air-conditioning Easy walk to both Bronte & Clovelly beach as well as fantastic cafes, restaurants and public transport.
