This place is located next to Roman Ruins of historical and cultural interest in the Alentejo region. Here tradition and nature coexist with modern comfort. In the middle of a countryside full with olive and cork trees, 2,8 km from the asphalt road, Figueirinha Ecoturismo is almost self-sufficient energy wise thanks to its solar panels. The biological swimming pool has 23 different species of plants. Frogs and other animals from the local fauna inhabit the waters, along with the owners and guests. The garden is an haven, especially in July and August, the hottest months. At Figueirinha Ecoturismo guests are treated as friends, so welcome!

Casa do Lado is a family house working as a Bed and Breakfast, a project managed by Mariana and Tomás, brother and sister. They were born and raised in the southwest of Alentejo region. Every morning breakfast I served by either Mariana or Tomás. Additionally there is option for dinner cooked by Mariana some nights of the week, get in touch to make a reservation. Suite Rio is located on the first floor, it is our room with less area, but has a small private Balcony.
