Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

In the neighborhood you will find everything you need for a successful stay: beach, cozy terraces, natural parks, charming villages, theme parks and wellness resorts. The bustling city of Groningen can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car or train! The house is the perfect base to explore the area in any season, but at the house and in the spacious garden it is wonderfully relaxing!

We have enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. The area is wonderfully quiet but everything you could need is also nearby (supermarket/restaurants). The cottage has more than enough amenities. The dog also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and the surrounding greenery. Sidenote for the tall people among us... the bath is fantastic! With my 1.85 m I even had space left! We will definitely come again!

what a beautiful house to stay in. The location is beautiful, if you want you can sail to the big lake. The site is nice and quiet. Nearby, plenty to do. The cottage is packed with amenities. Very nice beds and equipped with all facilities. It's nice to stay with the family.

We felt very comfortable in the cottage of Jeroen and Femke on our short vacation (2 nights). The loving and stylish furnishings have helped a lot with unwinding. There was everything you need for such a stay. The advance organization and the information have also helped to prepare everything well and arrive without stress. We wish you all the best!
