Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

CasaDelViento - Nature Retreat

Special hideout completely surrounded by nature! Spectacular views of the SanMamede nature reserve, Park Tajo International and zona ZEPA del RioSever. The house is a fantastic base to visit the ancient cities of LaRaya Luso, marvel at the authentic Spanish and Portugese folklore, hike trough the surrounding wilderness and numerous megalithic remains and menhirs. And not last, also to just relax and enjoy the scenery with and birds flying over while having a local wine and some tapas. Welcome!

The Wall Hideaway

Enjoy Cáceres from our unique little house. In the heart of the Old Town and with the 12th century Almohad Wall as the main façade, it is a privileged haven of peace, equipped with all the necessary comforts to make your stay in Cáceres an unforgettable experience. It has a double bedroom, a full bathroom with a large shower and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. It has a charming reading corner and laundry room. There is A/C, Wi-Fi, Smart-TV, Smart-WC... and you can access it by car.

If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. This lodge has a double bed and a comfortable single sofa bed. Este cantinho especial e acolhedor foi edificado inicialmente a 1930, pela avó Rosa e pelo avô Francisco. Atualmente reformulado e atualizado, procurámos manter os valores e as pedras estruturais que tanto suportaram esta casa e as gerações que aqui viveram ao longo dos anos. Ter este tesouro geracional não faz sentido para nós sem a possibilidade de partilha. Sejam muito bem-vindos ao cantinho da nossa avó Rosa!

Pula Xitaca

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Stairway to the Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)
