Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Zanzibar

We chose Fumba Town as the starting point for our discovery of Zanzibar. We spent two nights there. We are a family of 5 children and wanted to start our holidays in a quiet, peaceful area, far from the overly touristy places to immerse ourselves in an authentic atmosphere. We've been won over! Fumba Town is a safe, quiet place with various dining and entertainment options for young and old. The place is very well maintained, clean. Our children loved Kwetu Kwenu Chill, the ocean view is beautiful. DJs play music several times a week, making it a place to gather and relax, with meetings with people from all walks of life! The accommodation is quiet, tastefully decorated, we felt good there.

Staying at this Airbnb near Stone Town was an absolute delight! The location was perfect – a short walk to all the historical sites, vibrant markets, and delicious restaurants. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a local Zanzibari touch. What really made the stay special was the host's hospitality. They were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for an authentic and convenient experience in Zanzibar. It's a true gem!

The location is convenient, being close to the road, though this does come with some road noise. However, everything else about the stay was excellent. The place is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary facilities, from a fully functional kitchen to comfortable sitting rooms and bedrooms. Buda, is incredibly welcoming, cooperative, and communicative, making the stay even more enjoyable. I would choose this place again on my next visit to Zanzibar.

Excellent welcome from Liza & Nialam, who run the hotel. Very warm & caring for us during these 2 weeks. Functional and very pleasant accommodation. Air conditioning appreciated in the room. A strong smell upon arrival from the evaporative tray in the fridge. Issue quickly resolved at our request by Liza and Nialam. Very, very hard mattress. Gargantuan and very good breakfast, drink, fresh fruit, juice, omelette breads and crepes. We have eaten several times at pontil, good & correct rate as well as at once again fast food, very affordable local restaurant. We have sinned & swam from the beach but the gate remains very far from the beachside & inaccessible even in low tide. We did several scuba diving with ONE OCEAN recommended by the host & was really great! Care & Professionalism+++ . Quiet. Very popular covered & shaded terrace. 1 great stay. The place gave us exactly what we came for in Zanzibar, the beach front , only issue i had was how to get to the place , google map took us to different Zanzibar beach house and I didn’t have a sim card or data to communicate wt the owner , I think it’s better to use matemwe or just heaven apartment coz the locals know this places , the lady Esta was always there to help with whatever we needed and the owner always asking if we needed anything, so me and my friends felt at home . Thanks for the memories.

Our 5 day stay at Zuhura’s Airbnb was outstanding! From the start, Zuhura was incredibly kind, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. The place itself was immaculate and wonderful. It’s central location was perfect, putting us within easy walking distance of many beautiful spots, malls and restaurants making the area convenient and enjoyable. Cynthia's home was perfect for our family. Home was exactly as what was in the picture. Upstairs area of home was open, bright, and welcoming. Ester rhe housekeeper was very accommodating, what ever we needed, she would make it happen. The clear glistening pool was my getaway spot. The home was in a quiet area, but only a few minutes from shopping, this was the perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this home.

A beautiful Airbnb and amazing host! The hospitality was great and the surprised breakfast being included was a plus. It was a bit hard to find, but once we did we didn’t want to leave! Wished we stayed at this Airbnb longer!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area! Staff was all very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very much appreciated the security guard on the beach in front of the house to make our experience more peaceful as well!

Our landlord is very helpful. He helped us arrange taxis and give us a walk tour around some local places including the night market, and we tried some local street food together. The house is spacious, we had a good time with Dulla.

Feels right at home. With a nice ocean facing rooftop, clean swimming pool. This is a safe lodge, location is quiet and safe with friendly staffs and secured. Responsive host and always checking if everything was ok. This is a place where you can have a perfect rest/relaxation on vacation. I will definitely book again.

Such a beautiful place in Stone Town! The home was spotless and had everything we needed. Walkable distance to the main attractions also and lots of restraunts and corner shops nearby. Najma is the best host and was always happy to help in any way she could. She helped arrange our transport throughout our stay and was kind enough to be very flexible with the check out process. An absolute must book if you’re staying in Stone Town! We hope we can return someday 😊

Vintage house has a unique style and is placed in a very safe street close to the city center. Andreas helped us out with all our questions and arrangements, the laundry service was also much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

Veronica was very kind. She welcomed our family into her home. We wanted a place close to the airport so fly out the next day. Driving into the neighborhood, we started to get a little worried. It's a few minutes down a dirt road. She was able to give our driver precise directions. Once we got behind the secured gate, we were amazed by the property. We hung up our wet beach clothes outside on the spacious patio and clothesline. The kitchen had all the amenities. A separate dining area, a sitting area with 3 couches and TV, 3 bedrooms(2 with en suite bathrooms then a 3rd bathroom). AC in every room which was a bonus for us coming from not having any for 3 days in Nungwi. Hot water in the baths/showers. I slept on the couch comfortably whilst others enjoyed their private rooms/beds. In the neighborhood, I felt safe enough to walk 10 min to a fruit stand and small grocery to make breakfast. The kids in the area were so sweet. We gave them treats and they were grateful!Thank you!

Had a great stay! This apartment is centrally located, clean and well appointed but the best part of our stay was the manager Berry- he was SO helpful throughout our stay and made our stay in stonetown!

We’d stay here again! Mohamed was extremely friendly and had stellar communication. He responded so quickly to all of our needs and was very attentive and kind. We also enjoyed the location, being in the heart of stone town where everything was in walking distance. The room is spacious and the house they live in feels very cozy and authentic, much nicer than being in a standard hotel room if you’re down to experience living as the locals do!

my stay at Abanaa's apartment was excellent. The check in process was seamless, and the kitchen was fully equipped making it easy to cook. The location was perfect, close to local restaurants and stone town. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Zanzibar. OMG!
