The facility was animal friendly, and I was happy that I was able to stay with two dogs.It was also a nice exterior and interior.There were many rooms, and we stayed with four families and 6 people, but everything was air-conditioned and the bed was beautiful.There was also a BBQ facility, and I was grateful for the charcoal service and help with the fire.Also, the owner was very personable and very kind, and the check-in time was flexible, which was helpful.It was an unforgettable summer memory, so we would like to stay again!

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Aoshima, you’ve just found it! Mutsumi’s appartment is super well located and well equipped. A real peace haven we enjoyed a lot after some busy days visiting Tokyo. We appreciated using the washer (a bit tricky to manage for westerners but that’s part of the trip!). Do not hesitate to try the takoyaki and cooked yam (yaki imo) from their restaurant downstairs. Also the restaurant in the tropical garden serves a cold miso soup (a Miyazaki speciality) that is a must try IMO. Waking up early to admire the sun rise on Aoshima island is also worthwhile 🤩 Mutsumi was also very helpful when we asked for tea farms references. We will definitely stay there again ! Thank you!

The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and easy to spend time in. The interior is cute with mint green.It was a cute space with a sense of cohesion and even dishes. The place is thoroughly cleaned and sparkling clean. Not only was it full of amenities, but the host's thoughtfulness was everywhere. It was such a pleasure. It's also nice to have a lot of towels! The futon was clean and well-maintained, which was very pleasant. The location is also great.When you get up early, you can see the sunrise climbing from the Ariake Sea. The shadow of Unzen was also beautiful. I played in the sea every day just a few minutes walk away. I stayed for 5 nights in a really beautiful sea with great transparency, but I didn't get bored at all. I'd love to come back.

Before our stay, they contacted us frequently, and contacted us about check-in instructions and precautions during our stay. The room was also in a quiet residential area, so we had a relaxing time.Thank you for being so accommodating and accommodating during your stay.I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

We really enjoyed our time at Tim’s apartment. The apartment itself is perfect for two people - it’s quiet, comfortable, and has a relaxing vibe. The location is central and perfect for exploring the surrounding natural wonders. Highly recommend eating some delicious deserts at the family run cafe downstairs too. Tim also provided us with great recommendations for visiting Sakurajima and other nearby areas. We’d gladly stay here again in the future!

We had the most magical stay in this absolutely charming village. The location is a dream—just a few steps from the beach, where we spent our mornings and evenings soaking up the views. The home itself is a total gem—thoughtfully designed, maintained with love, and filled with such a cozy, inviting energy. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease and right at home. And the hosts? Truly the sweetest people ever! They've thought of every little detail to make your stay feel effortless and special. Their kindness, attentiveness, and seamless communication made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We felt genuinely cared for. Everyone in the village was so welcoming and kind too. You don’t need a car to stay here (although it is more convenient). We were able to explore the coast by train. The views from the train were stunning. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming of our return.

We had a great stay at Darren & Eiko’s place. Walkable to Aoshima Shrine and the beach is just across the street. Lots of restaurants during the day but had difficulty finding places open for dinner. The condo is very clean with plenty of space. We were a couple but a family with 1 or 2 children could easily also be comfortable.

Great cosy and well fitted apartment. I really loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone! Yu was very helpful and quick to answer any questions and the apartment was very clean and a pleasure to stay in!
