Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ylitornio

Really good place and the kids liked it. We were a family of 7 and we had a really nice time. Good beds and an excellent kitchen! 😊

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

The house was nice , warm and cozy. Feel like home. The location was great. Just 3 mins to supermarket and 3 mins to Sweden. The view was breathtaking. Amazing

We loved Kari's house when we entered. It was warm and everything necessary was available. The sauna was easy to use. Our daughter had her own sled mound and was constantly playing outside in the snow. It is very safe for children as you are absolutely private. One evening we even had an aurora explosion just above the property. It was magical. We stayed here for 9 days and had perfect weather The location is great for exploring the area around Rovaniemi. You are also quickly in the supermarket and in the city. Kari is a nice and helpful host. We will be happy to come back and recommend his cabin to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the city. Thank you Kari for letting us being your guests.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

This place is the best to stay with your family amid the beauty of the natural, the owner is very friendly and helpful, I really recommend it

A CHARMING PLACE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE BREATHTAKING VIEW. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK IN ANOTHER PERIOD AS WE WANT TO SEE IT COVERED IN SNOW. WONDERFUL STRUCTURE AND MEETS EXPECTATIONS. MATERIAL INSIDE SUCH AS PLATES/GLASSWARE/POTS ETC... OF HIGHER VALUE. VERY FRIENDLY AND PUNCTUAL HOST IN THEIR RESPONSES. HE ALSO RECOMMENDED PLACES TO GO HIKING, WHICH WE TOOK INTO ACCOUNT.

Irina was a wonderful host, ensuring a seamless experience with great attention to detail. Everything, from the comfy beds to the peaceful atmosphere, made our visit truly special. We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Loved the place, wonderful sauna, beautiful balcony. Owner was super responsive, attentive and communicative. Sofa bed is not the best for 2 adults but it's soft and comfy, we had children with us so they slept fine there. Will definitely look for this apartment next time i stay in Rovaniemi!

We loved our stay with Kati. She is quite polite and quick to respond. Everything was very clear. House itself is very comfortable and cozy. It was pristine clean and we got welcoming cookies and chocolate. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only slight inconvenience is location if you are coming during holidays because buses don’t run every day and they are kinda rare. This was written on Katis profile so we knew what we are getting into. But everything else was perfect. Thank you Kati for hosting us, our time in Rovaniemi was excellent ☺️

Nice cabin. We had a pleasent time. Would recommend to anyone who wants to escape from the busy workdays and enjoy the beautiful wintertime.

Jaakko is the kindest, hardworking host you will ever find. The rooms are pristine clean, spotless, spacious. Jaakko left us some chocolates, juice and banana's when we came in the night the first day, we were really hungry and they saved us. The house has everything you need and right beside a river, we were able to see very nice aurora one night. Lidl groceries is super close about 5 minutes walk. Santa's village, airport are pretty close with the taxi and doesn't cost a lot. Jaakko had given the skiing equipment and guided on how to use them, he also arranged Sauna and ice dip for us which is a memorable lifetime experience. We highly recommend Jaakko's place, looks no further. Thank you Jaakko for everything and for your patience in answering our queries about skiing and ice plunge🙏

Large and cozy apartment with sauna and private parking, a plus if you are traveling by car as the parking lots on the street for a fee. Everything was well organized and the host was available for clarification and feedback Tip!

We loved our stay at Sampo’s place. The cabin had an amazing view of the river and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. We saw the northern light over the river right from the cabin. The place was well equipped with all necessary things and the availability of snowshoes was nice! Sampo was always responsive to all of our queries throughout the stay A small note maybe, we would have appreciated if the coffee and sugar was available. Overall, we had a great time!

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

Located in a quiet and peaceful environment, Johanna and Marko's accommodation allows you to rest well. The cottage is well-equipped and has all the necessary comforts. On the other hand, activities in a nearby environment are rare.

Everything was as described. We had nice, quiet and relaxing days. The sauna and the view of nature was our highlight.

Great space inside, lots of windows with great views over the river. Comfortable bunk beds, traditional sauna heated with wood fire was a fab experience. Shops 10 km away, super quiet. It's the second time we stayed at Antti's and would recommend it.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.
