Frans place was so perfectly set up for our weekend away, everything you could need to have a cozy stay including cooking tools and incredibly comfortable beds. Truly the most magical time. Felt very at home

Lovely quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Lots to do in the local area. Greeted by Luca the friendly dog, and Tony and Jacky were wonderful hosts who went over and above by providing homemade bread and cake!

What a beautiful home in magical and serene location. The view was magnificent and I gratefully drank in the quiet solitude. My adult daughter and I had a lovely stay for 3 nights, I'd have loved it to be longer. Each of our beds were comfortable and the lounge furniture was very supportive to our intention to relax. The home has everything you could need while staying, it is thoughtfully curated. Being a north facing property,it gets uninterrupted sun all day and definitely heats up on a sunny day, wise to take the advice to close the blinds late morning. We enjoyed the coolness of the dining room for lunch and in the evenings the early autumn sun had warmed the lounge area. The bedroom with ensuite was great and had ample room for my four wheel walker and the ensuite mirror and basin were well positioned to sit at. driveway is a bit exciting, 4wd and a copilot are helpful. I'm so grateful I chose this property as it was a balm for the soul and the view remains in my heart.

We had an amazing time at Mitch's beautiful property, the house is spacious, clean and quiet at night, beds are so comfy and everything is clean and spotless, Mitch is very friendly and very prompt at responding requests. We enjoy the space so much we highly recommend to everyone ;) Thank you for having us!

Gorgeous space and land, very clean, and mornings felt like waking up in a rainforest canopy. Absolutely spectacular bird song. Martin allowed me to park in the front parking spot which was great, because I was driving an SUV and was not comfortable backing out of the narrow driveway. The Sonos speakers made getting ready for my friend’s wedding nearby a delight. My only trouble was that I couldn’t get some of the spotlight style lights to turn on, on the second floor, which meant it was a bit darker in the evening upstairs than I’d usually prefer before bed, but this was only a very minor inconvenience. Overall, this is a gorgeous home and I loved spending time in it; it has really lovely romantic vibes — come solo, like I did, or this is a great space for a friend getaway or a few days away with a partner.

Great house that is very well set up for kids. Beautiful surroundings and Gerry was very helpful and flexible with check-in.

Really made use of the deck which provides options to enjoy meals, BBQ or just relax while taking in the views of Mt Riddell and the birdlife. The house is beautiful and offers numerous places to lounge around, as well as a new kitchen along with other recent upgrades. The hosts were friendly and helpful and we thank them for a wonderful weekend.

Justin was a personable and lovely hosts. Justin met me and set me up with our stay in the beautiful suite and help me arrange an amazing in room massage (coming from a massage snob the contractors Justin uses are 10/10!) as well was giving us vouchers for the tea house we had planned on visiting. Ling gave us a tour on his beautiful veggie garden and even gave us some of his produce including a zucchini bigger than my arm! He also gave us a wholesome lesson on how to grown certain vegetables <3 Room was spotless, beautiful, private and romantic. We had a lovely Valentine’s Day here! I would definitely recommend this accommodation (especially if you want to earn some brownie points with a partner ;-) )

Absolutely lovely accommodation - probably the nicest I've ever stayed in. Was spotlessly clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. The breakfast hamper was great.

Lovely light spacious accomodation with super comfy bed. Grace provided some lovely breakfast options we could prepare using the toaster and microwave. Really appreciated the huge TV and Netflix on a rainy day...and nice walk to local lakes on our sunny day. Great to stay and visit puffing Billy. Grace was quick to respond to questions and flexible around check in/out. She lives on site but is respectful of your space and it felt quite private sitting on our own verandah admiring the front garden.

We enjoyed our stay at the Camelot towers. It was magnificent. Views were amazing and the spot was squeaky clean. Jess was very kind and easy to deal with. The only thing that’s worth considering is that for Optus network, the signal is low. It played out great for us because, we actually wanted to disconnect from the routine and have a relaxed weekend. Definitely recommend to anyone.

This was a beautiful and peaceful place for a weekend away. Surrounded by woods and you get a great view from every window. It was quiet but located 2 mins from Olinda. Advice is to BYO DVDs as the TV isn’t a smart TV and won’t stream.

Carmel was the best host anyone could ever ask for. The accommodation was amazing, cosy and was perfect for our getaway. Everything was clean and each room had its beautiful artistic quirks. Each of the drawers in the bedroom and lounge area had little surprises, from books to board games. Thank you Carmel for being super awesome and we look forward to staying again when we’re back in Emerald!

Steve and KaLing have a beautiful place, we very much enjoyed our stay on the Mountain. The place was more spacious than we gleamed from the photos and we took full advantage of outdoor space, especially the spa. At times we found that there were little bits and pieces missing to enable full enjoyment and ease of using the amenities, for instance it was a bit tricky using the BBQ without tongs. That said I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook should we want to return for an escape to the hills. Would love to come back in the winter to bunker down and light the fire. Fabulous

This booking was for our annual girls' getaway, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Deepika was a responsive host, providing clear instructions that made our stay seamless. We were charmed by the peaceful surroundings, waking up to the delightful sounds of birdsong each morning. The freshly cut flowers, bottle of wine, and Anzac biscuits awaiting us were such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Our favorite spot, without a doubt, was the outdoor spa, where we spent countless relaxing hours. It was truly a memorable escape.

Beautiful stay and perfect for spending time with the family. Place was exactly as described and the host Tinne went above and beyond to stock the fridge with food essentials to ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommended

Outstanding house and gardens, so peaceful, historic and beautifully maintained. Has everything needed for a getaway with friends: huge heated indoor pool, tennis court, pool table, grand piano, luxurious four posters and a well equipped kitchen. Alan was able to meet us at check-in and is a very gracious host with great knowledge of the property's history, which he shared with intelligence and wit. Can't recommend the whole experience enough.

We booked blackwood for our wedding anniversary. I was looking for a lux 2 night escape that felt dreamy and romantic and this is exactly what we got! The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was able to be made dark allowing us to have long sleep ins (which is something we never get!) the thoughtful touch of the cheese board came in very hand while taking a soak in the spa! The accomodation was situated right in the heart of sassafras which is home to lovely little cafes and specialty stores (although the town is very sleepy until 10am) If you are going to this area we recommend the bakery ‘Proserpina’! Amazing pastries 🥐 and ‘The pig and whistle’ was a great pub night out. Thank you for such lovely accommodation we had a very memorable weekend x
