Cottage holiday rentals in Yantis

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location was perfect, right on the lake. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Very private and secluded. The space was clean and comfortable. We will be back again!! Thank you so much!

I needed a place to just unwind and relax for a couple of days. I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, surrounded by nature, scenic, and go fishing! This place was all of the above and then some. (There's also a very nice golf course just down the street) Mike and Sheryl make you feel right at home. They are both very friendly and kind. They kept their fridge stocked with drinks and breakfast foods. There is also a coffeemaker, microwave, and toaster in the common/kitchenette area. I even caught my biggest catfish off their brand new dock! (5lbs). I will definitely be back for another stay. I highly recommend staying at Mike & Sheryl's lake side house.

I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place!!! This house was gorgeous and very well-kept! The owners thought of everything that travelers may need. They also had various snacks, movies, and games for the children. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The owners have bird feeders up, so it was really nice getting to see all the birds flying around the backyard. There were so many beautiful cardinals and we saw 1 blue jay. Stephanie and Jan were such friendly and amazing people! Whatever we needed, they always answered quickly. The home was very comfortable and we had such a good stay! We were even allowed to have visitors! Most of the Airbnbs that we have stayed at did not allow visitors, so it was nice to be able to have our family over. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the Quail cabin. We got there late and it was very dark so it was a little hard to find (but to be fair, I don’t do well with directions). My fiancé and I had a great time reconnecting with each other and disconnecting from the busy city. We hope to come back again one day. The owners were great and super responsive. The cabin was private and surrounded by trees. We absolutely loved our time together in the cabin.

We were able to get into the home with a wheelchair ramps fairly easy. I know that the host clearly indicated some issues with the wheel chair accessibility of the Home. it would be great to allow more wheelchair bound individuals to enjoy Holly Lake if maybe grab bars could be installed in the bathroom downstairs. Wonderful stay!!!! Beautiful home!!!

Scott provided a great experience for my family of four. The house had everything that we needed. It was our first experience in a tiny home, and Scott did a great job on maximizing the space with all of the necessities. The dock was a plus, since our main goal was to fish. We got bass while we were out there and really enjoyed our time out there. The neighborhood leading up to his place wasn’t the greatest, but once you reach his house, it has a beautiful view of the lake. His properties are well kept. Scott was very attentive when we reached out to him, responding well within 10 minutes. I will definitely be a returning guest if I choose to come back out this way.

This is the perfect spot for a getaway weekend or Canton Trade Days. It was easy to find with the directions given. It was a short drive to a grocery store. Quick and easy drive to Trade Days. Beautiful surroundings and quiet location. They had everything that you need for a relaxing stay.

The Owners are so responsive and friendly that it feels like family! We enjoyed our stay and never needed much as they always provided us with what we asked and needed. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Wow! This is such an oasis in the heart of beautiful east Texas. The home was cozy and sweet. The lake was gorgeous. My family loved the boat house dock. Lots of fishing and lots of use of their kayaks. Thank you Toni! Jimmy

We had a wonderful stay at Felicia’s! The house was even better than the pictures, clearly designed with attention to detail from top to bottom. Felicia’s mix of antique one-of-kind decorations along with modern comforts like large leather couches and recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms were perfect to enjoy the small town charm of Sulphur Springs. The instructions to get in, and house rules were clear and simple. The distance to downtown is close enough to walk, but far enough that it stays quiet and free of traffic. We will definitely stay here again if given the chance next time we come to Sulphur Springs!

We have the most amazing stay at this lake house! The property was absolutely beautiful, clean and perfectly set up. The lake views were stunning, especially the sunset. The house had everything we needed and more. We love spending time on the back deck using the fire pit and taking the kayaks in the water. The pool table and abundance of games was great when the weather got bad. You can tell that the owners really care about the guest experience!

I had such an amazing stay at Judy's Country Cottage! Michelle was a wonderful host very friendly and helpful, she put alot of thought into the decor and every amenity you can think of. The reclining sofa and bed were super comfy. When I walked in from a long drive. Homemade cookies and muffins were there and tasted amazing! Also met her super gentle and adorable pooch, he's a gentle giant. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great cottage getaway! The host made sure to make our stay special, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our home away from home for the weekend. We loved the private setting of the cottage. Sitting and swinging on the porch swing was one of my favorite times. The drive into Canton is less than 10 minutes, and puts you downtown close to shops, restaurants, and First Mondays. I would definitely book another stay here.

For a quick overnight trip it was perfect. Super cute small town location. Cottage was perfect!

We had a group of guys stay here for the weekend and we had a great time. The pool was great to enjoy and the kitchen was well suited for our meal prep during the stay. We used the poker table and chips that were in the BnB for hours! It was a blast. The place was exactly as Amelia described it and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely come back here again.
