It borders Gerderman rhododendron preserve and is located on an extensive trail system that leads to the ocean, the forest or the center of Yachts a short distance away. (Beach stairs closed and under repair with no known completion date due to significant engineering issues). Beach access within 1/2 mile south and north. Beach stair access will hopefully be restored soon as the contractor has finally provided a plan.
