Family-friendly holiday rentals in Xlendi Bay

A place with history, like so much of Malta but with all modern amenities. The pool and jacuzzi were really relaxing after a day's sightseeing - we spent all our time 'at home' beside the pool! Thank you Shaun for great communication and a great stay.

We had a lovely time at Victor’s place with my family for a week’s holiday in April. Had the chance to explore the local area whilst using the house as a base. 10/10 house, lovely place to relax with everything we needed.

Loved the house and location, had a 360 view of the sea from the roof terrace. The children enjoyed their time in the swimming pools. Had all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The cleaner and owner were very helpful and accommodating to our family and we really appreciate that.

Twilight is a lovely villa, tucked away along a quiet lane but a quiet and beautiful walk away from two Lighthouse supermarkets. There’s also a lovely restaurant on the church square in San Lawrenz. Having an en suite each was great. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well by the pool. Aircon was excellent. The pool was the best feature of the house… the pool terrace is lovely, gets the sun all day and that view! Also we were always able to find shade… didn’t use the hot tub as it was so hot but a great addition for cooler months. Take bug spray we all got a few bites. We also bought a citronella candle for evenings. Great communication from Kevin, nothing too much trouble.

Great house! Spacious, beautiful, and equipped with everything a family could need. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, swimming every day! The location is fantastic. Just a five-minute drive away, there's a great beach with a restaurant where we had lunch several times. There’s also a pizzeria and a store with all the essentials just a few minutes away. We had a fantastic stay at Antoinette's place. The flat was exactly as described, very clean and the outdoor pool area was fantastic. It was ideal for the kids and we all had plenty of space. The flat was brilliantly located for getting to the beach at Mellieha and for buses around the island. Antoinette was really helpful, lots of great recommendations and was always responsive. Highly recommend.

Stephanie was an excellent host. She sent useful information before we arrived and greeted us on arrival. There were one or two minor issues with plumbing that were sorted promptly and in a friendly manner. The place is really lovely especially the pool area. There were six of us but there is ample room for up to ten people . The Bolt taxi service is good but I would say a hire car is almost essential if, like us want to explore a lot of Malta. Mellieha is an excellent hub for water sports and the ferry to Gozo. Overall I think Citrine villa is a beautiful if a little faded gem.

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

Moritz was super host- super quick to reply. The apartment is in a great location in my favourite place in Malta, super outside space for relaxing and enjoying the views of Spinola Bay You have an amazing choice of superb restaurants right on your doorstep. Would definitely return. Thank you Moritz mum and I had a fabulous relaxing stay.

Pawlu is a fantastic host. Super friendly and helpful. Great with recommendations and clear and easy advice on how to get from the airport and how to check in. Pawlu's place is a real 'home from home' type of place, we all settled in really well and had a fab stay. We'd highly recommend Pawlu's property to others. Marsakala is also a lovely place to stay, away from the main tourist spots, giving you the opportunity to really enjoy Malta as a local. The bus service is also excellent and we had no trouble travelling to various locations around the island. Thanks for having us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's place. The location is great for access to both the old town and the ferry, with great views out of the balcony area. The apartment has homely vibes and Robert was very generous in stocking us up with beverages and snacks on arrival which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

Thank you for having us! Lucy's place was very cozy, private, in a more quiet part of the city but easy to reach the rest of Valetta and other places we wanted to visit around the islands.

This was our second stay at Marthese's place, and we just love it. Perfect for a quiet week of relaxation, always spotless and comfortable, and the smart TV is a great new addition if you want a quiet night in while you're there! Thanks Marthese!

it was lovely, the photos don’t give it enough justice. Really big, modern. Host was really helpful and arranged transport from the airport to the Airbnb. Would recommend to anyone visiting Malta. The accomodation made our trip. Such a beautiful area and Ubers really reasonable to get to and from places

A truly fantastic home and an equally fantastic host in Anton! We, a family of 8, made up of children, parents and grandparents, have just had the most amazing stay in Anton’s beautiful home. The house is even better than the photos suggest, a real wow factor as you walk in. It comes nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and furniture, and the house is equipped extremely well with everything you could possibly need. Each room has its own character and charm, then you step outside into pool area and garden and the wow factor continues! We spent a lot of time here, it’s an amazing space and so private. The location in Xaghra is ideal with a few minutes stroll to the village square, a little gem filled with enough varied cafés, bars and small restaurants to keep all tastes satisfied. I must say Al Sale stood out. Then there’s Anton, who greeted and took time to show us around explaining how everything works. He’s the best host I’ve encountered, a friendly, kind and funny gentleman.

Lovely place, the location was very good, perfect little and private pool yard. Isa and Jean Paul was very easy and nice to communicate with. The place is located close to a bustop making it very easy to get around Malta

The house has an amazing atmosphere, especially the terrace, windows and pool. The centre looks better than in the pictures. The host was flexible about check-in and check-out times, which was a huge plus.

The apartment was everything we hoped for. The information provided by Janina and Simon was so helpful. They responded almost immediately to our queries and were very welcoming. The apartment is just up the hill from the coastal path where you can watch the incredible sunsets. The linked website gave us information about local walks, restaurants, etc. A bus stop is just around the corner and so you have easy access to the rest of the island if you don't want to hire a car. Although we went in February , most local restaurants and bars were open. The pool , though beautiful, is unheated so only for the hardiest of folk!

We had a fantastic holiday at the apartment and we didn’t want to come home. The apartment was huge and had everything we needed. Our 3 year old son loved zooming around the apartment and the space outside and the pool was perfect. Alison was the best host ever, such a lovely person and gave us great recommendations which we really appreciated. She had left plenty of essential groceries for our arrival which was super duper helpful, and even brought us an amazing pizza on our last night too. The location is so handy for shops and we could walk with a pram to restaurants nearby. We found a few local parks for our son to play in within walking distance too. We can’t recommend Alison’s apartment enough, and I’m sure we will come back in the future x

"Wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and looked exactly like the pictures. Great location—just a short walk to restaurants. The private pool area was a lovely touch, well-used, and gets sun for most of the day. The host, Shawn, was very helpful and responsive. He even greeted us at the apartment despite our flight arriving really late, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"
