Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Xhariep District Municipality

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We were warmly welcomed by our lovely host and her daughter—both enthusiastic animal lovers, which made us feel right at home with our dogs. The whole family was a delight, and they went out of their way to make our stay special. What a memorable moment: watching the wild animals come right up to our unit at sunset to be fed—a magical experience. The space had everything we needed, and we slept comfortably. We’ll definitely stay again and look forward to keeping in touch!

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! And thank you again for the surprises you given us… super special! P

I had a great Elrie's place, clean and prestine, the bed is comfortable! The house is adequately equipped and the kitchen is well stocked with basic necessities. The yard is green and well manicured, looks amazing. Staff very helpful, clean and responsive. I am staying there again next week if I find it free for booking.

Awesome place - renovated well , takes u back in time with the retro interior - has everything u need plus a beautiful outside garden with a braai spot u der the big oak tree . And the our Kar pub is 50m away with great food . One of the few places I have come back to and will def return - a historic jewel in the Karoo

Check in was seamless and clear instructions provided. The house looks exactly like the photo's. Has everything you need, bathrooms moder and super clean.

Great stay, bed was like sleeping in the clouds. Kevin & Pedro are clearly passionate about their place. All you need to feel at home is in the unit. Would highly recommend their place to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay here. The place was neat and incredibly cozy. Jacklyn went the extra mile to make it feel like home, adding thoughtful touches like hot water bottles, coffee, tea, milk, and bottled water—perfect for the chilly weather. The fireplace kept the space warm and inviting throughout my stay. Communication was smooth, and Jacklyn was responsive and always willing to assist. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Bloemfontein!

Anja, Braam's wife, was very warm and welcoming. She helped us manage the dogs well so there was no anxiety about that! She even brought us booking water for coffee this morning when there was load shedding! Braam shared a G. Maps Pin location which made directions and communication very easy. Peaceful place in a beautiful setting. Baie dankie, ons sal terug wees!

Perfect for a stopover on a long drive. Laurie came out to greet me in person. Second time I’ve stayed there, well worth it.
