Looking to get away from it all? This cozy log cabin sits alone on a rise overlooking fields of sunflowers, where the deer & antelope graze and Kara Creek runs lazily through the valley. Guests are welcome to hike, fish Kara Creek, or fish the 11 acre pond stocked with trout (many over 20 inches) and large mouth bass. This cabin is located on 9 acres of private property with 3 other houses it has a fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to run. The deer creek is just a stone's throw away from the cabin as well as a park for kids to play. Deer Creek Pony Express used to be a home station for the pony express route and the Oregon trail. The pony express ran from 1860 to 1861, and it ran from St. Joseph Missouri to Sacramento California. Come and enjoy this historical property.

This 500 square foot cozy cabin rests at the edge of the Popo Agie River,Sit on the front porch, light the campfire, roast a marshmallow, and relax. It has a queen bed and a full size sofa sleeper.
