This place is a paradise. Adelene is by far the best host we have come across. We felt right at home. The place is located on a very serene and peaceful lake. The owner has decorated this place extremely wonderfully well. We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. A+++++

The Round House was a perfect setting for our family get together. We were able to seat 10 comfortably around the large dining table, which made meal times relaxing and fun. There are also lots of extra chairs. The kitchen is well equipt, with lots of work space. They have a coffee maker with built in k-cup maker. The spare fridge in the garage was a bonus. There is a grill on the deck that we used to make burgers. The living room spaces were comfy and inviting to relax in, and allowed us to spread out when we wanted. The outdoor surroundings were beautiful and many of us took walks around the grounds. We also utilized the hot tub daily. The owner was responsive to questions and touched base when we arrived to make sure we found the property and got in okay. He was accommodating to all of our needs. I am so grateful to have found this property. If we are in the area again, this will be where we stay.

Maggie was the best host! She was super responsive and accommodating. She made sure we made it to the property safely and without any problems. Any time I had a question she was very quick to respond. We loved this house and it was perfect for our bigger group for a weekend trip!

We had a fantastic stay at John’s lovely, cozy home! There was plenty of space for our group and 3 toddlers who loved the game room, also the games provided. We enjoyed the pool table downstairs and the spacious indoor and outdoor areas to hang out. The location was convenient, close to the lake and stores making it easy to enjoy nearby activities. John was amazing, I booked a day before and he made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families! Thank you 😊

Jerry was a wonderful host, and his property is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed fishing in the pond and spending time outdoors with our dogs. The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen, along with enough board games to keep us entertained for a long time! We truly became closer as a family and were very happy to have booked with Jerry. Thank you!

This is a beautiful, secluded house that makes you feel that you're deep in the Poconos. Convenient drive to the local grocery store and other local restaurants. The communications with our hosts were clear and concise and they gave easy to follow instructions on where to go once you check in at the gatehouse. 5 stars, would stay again!

Minutes from Elk, the Wetter Homestead was a perfect home for our family during our stay. The minute you walk in the door you can feel the love that was fostered in this house—it just has a great vibe. The beds were comfy, it was absolutely spotless, and the kitchen was stocked with virtually any cooking implement you could need, all perfectly organized. Multiple spaces to hang out and outlets aplenty for charging electronics. We loved this home and cannot wait to return next season.

We enjoyed camping at Jaqueline’s home space. They were very accommodating when we requested a different spot! It wasn’t as private as the pictures lead but that means the “amenities” are close. A fridge to put cold stuff in, outlets to charge your phone and porta pots. They check in on you often (maybe too much 😊) and their house is in the same place your camping area is so they are always close by. I didn’t love all the metal and wooden furniture pieces all over the property but we still enjoyed nature, the creek walk, having a campfire and falling asleep to the rain! NOTE: wood is $13/11 small pieces of wood

We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Bill and Linda are great hosts and the place always looks great. We had a great time riding through the state parks nearby and hope to return soon!

We loved staying at Beth’s for the weekend. The location was walking distance to the water with a great outdoor space. We were quite busy so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake as much as we should have but the beach looked fun and the kayaks at the house would’ve been fun to take out as well!

Our stay was perfect. The house felt SO clean when we arrived. The views were breathtaking. I sat in the gazebo almost every morning with coffee to watch the sunrise. The photos on the website don't do the house justice. The living/dining/kitchen areas are all open and the layout flows very well. It's incredibly cozy but the high ceilings give it an extra special feel. The landscaping around the house gives you tons of privacy even with the windows and shades open. Highly recommend!!!

Our family (3 kids and a dog) were looking for something secluded and drivable to multiple parks. Margo's cabin fit the bill. It was warm, cozy, and had plenty of space for us. Seeing sunrises and sunsets on the pond were a nice benefit. There were geese and a beaver in the pond. We brought food and cooked at the cabin. Margo was super responsive and informative. We spent our days out at Ricketts Glen and World's End state parks. Note that the internet and cell service is spotty in that area in general, and we had to take our trash out with us. But those are to be expected in a secluded area. We loved the cabin, property, and spending our days in the parks with our kids and Corgi.

Wow! What a beautiful place! We had 14 of our immediate family here and there was plenty of room. If you wanted peace and quiet, we would go out on the screen porch nearest the stream and just listen to the water and rock on the wicker chair. The lofts on three of the four bedrooms were perfect for the kids. The quietest bedroom is on the basement floor and it does not have a loft. Super comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of blankets if needed. Firepit down on the hill was lots of fun with our last night's bonfire. Otherwise, we used the fireplace on the basement porch for our s'mores. The first morning we saw two young bucks on the property just near the firepit. Scott was very responsive to our every question or concern. Doors were tricky to operate at first, but once understanding the mechanism, no problem at all. We needed more towels and Scott reached out to the cleaner and we had towels right away. We went to Rickett's Glen, World's End and Knoebels!

Our third stay here. It is a fantastic home. The kitchen is very well appointed. Plenty of split wood for the fireplace. TV and entertainment is good. Didn't use the sauna so can't comment on that. Nick is quick to respond when making the booking. Thanks again Nick for the use of your home.

We had the best family vacation at beautiful lake house. The place is very spacious and neat, and the best part is that they let us use the canoe and bikes. Julia, the property manager was very friendly and respond fast. I recommend this place!

The house is old but great to accommodate all guests needs for the long term stay for every members of party (has 3 livable levels) a lot of games for the kids and beach furniture, kitchen packed with plenty of pan, pots with lids and utensils additionally including paper plates and plastic utensils (which is a benefit). We have some issues with the bathrooms which was addressed right away (the cleaning lady was visiting and do the job right after our report to the owner). The bathroom in main bedroom is a little smelly just need to keep the door closed at all the time. The owners voluntarily return $150 for some registration fee due to some community registration changes (without any knowledge or request from us) which is was a honest act from the owners. Location is great, about 5-7 min walking distance from the main beach/pool area. The price is very reasonable for such house, the house feels like home inside. Recommend this house for not very picky guests who expect hotel style.

Thomas was a great host. He was very friendly and responsive. There was a storm the night before we arrived and one of the boat oars went missing. Tom immediately arranged for a replacement set should we want them. His property is beautiful! Lovely swimmable lake with kayaks that we used daily and it’s a quick drive to the public beach which was great for the kids. Nice yard games and activities too so you don’t really need any plans. We had a great time!

We had such an amazing weekend here for my husband’s birthday weekend. The weather was not ideal but we got to enjoy every bit of this place. Enjoyed the lake views and boats available. Spent some time playing ping pong and fusbol and gathering around all the tables to play games and board games. We were right at home immediately and it was awesome sleeping our large group. The variety of places to sit and enjoy each other’s company was well worth it. We got to enjoy a few fires and some s’mores. It was a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this place for anyone with a big group and a furry friend!

We had a fantastic stay at Eugene’s house. The house was cozy, clean, spacious, comfortable and was stocked with everything you need for short term or long term stay. Very comfortable beds, plenty of linens and towels, modern appliances. Very cozy private backyard and deck, walking distance to the pool. Eugene is a very responsive and accommodating host, he addressed all our inquires timely and shared local activities for the community. I can’t recommend this house enough for a relaxing and very comfortable getaway.

The place was great. Provided all the essential and then some. Kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee and tea. While it is 20-30 minutes from all major attractions, the place was definitely worth it. Cozy and quiet.
