We offer a private studio apartment located on the second floor of this wonderfully restored 2 unit carriage house, built in the early roarin' 20's! It offers a blend of modern amenities, with more traditional countryside accents. The traditional design of the studio allows light to pour through the apartment, while making adjustments for sleeping in easy. This truly unique space is a perfect place to take a weekend to relax, and enjoy our exterior grounds!
“Cozy space, close to town and hiking trails, with all the cooking supplies you’d need. The shower is a bit small (probably 3x3), just in case that’s important to you, but everything was spotless and really comfortable!”
The perfect cozy cottage for a romantic getaway...or just to get away. Walking distance to the quaint and funky town of Woodstock. Enjoy coffee or cocktails right on the stream on the back deck or underneath the grape-vined pergola. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the stream and wake up to the beautiful songbirds. Have a BBQ in the lush garden or sit around the fire pit and toast marshmallows. 2% Ulster County tax included. Unfortunately, the indoor fireplace is not working at this time.
“You won't find a cottage like this. It quaint, super cozy, warm upon entry (we came first truly cold weekend of season), sits in the forest with a babbling brook running right off the back bedroom and deck! And you are walking distance to everything, you will never need your car to get anywhere in town. The owners are beyond prepared for their guests, super responsive. We will be back. This place made a short list of places that we must return to!”
Historic Byrdcliffe artist's retreat. As part of the original Byrdcliffe Arts Colony est. in 1902 ... it is located on Guardian Mountain in the middle of Woodstock and has been a wildlife preserve for over 100 years. Peace, quiet and creativity in the Heart of the Catskills. Breathe fresh air & see the stars. Perfect for nature lovers, artists and hikers. Everyone is welcome!
“A great place to stay. My boyfriend and I loved the little stone sitting area in the apartment, it was really cozy and warm and we had a great time drinking wine and playing cards after playing out in the snow in the surrounding property for a few hours. Gillian is very kind but not overbearing-- you really feel like you have the place to yourself. It was the perfect weekend escape from the city, and the town is very cute as well! Made me dream of moving!”
