Holiday rentals with a patio in Winneshiek County

FIVE STAR RATING! The location was perfect and we loved everything about the apartment! Very clean, spacious and the bed was cozy! We were in walking distance from all of the downtown shops and restaurants! We would definitely rebook from Linda and Chris the next time we visit Decorah.

I will definitely stay here again, Andy is ver freindly and helpful. It is a rare to find a nice place off the beaten path like this one.

This was a very nicely designed apartment in downtown Lanesboro where you can easily walk to shops and restaurants. Be forewarned however that you get to the apartment by way of a steep flight of stairs. The coffee shop downstairs is great too.

What a wonderful little place! We loved every bit of it from all the over-the-top amenities to the adorable , creative decorating touches! We had fun looking at all artistic detail in every room!! This is very close to the beginning of the Root River bike trails and very close to restaurants and shopping. Would love to come again and stay longer!

Dawn is an excellent host. Her place is spacious, very clean with a full kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer. The bed (I slept in one—was there solo) was very comfortable. The living room space has two comfortable recliners with a TV and good reading light. I was in Elkader for a family funeral and would definitely book with Dawn again.

We hit a deer on the way to the Airbnb which delayed our arrival by over 2 hours. After all airbags deployed we were very sore and tired. You never know the quality that a bed will be but Nick’s place had a very comfortable bed. It was a nice end to a pretty bad night! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great spot and location downtown. Everything is pretty much walking distance and convenience is a major plus. Lots of space, natural light inside, and patio was a nice area to start and end the day.

Dorthea's hospitality really stood out in this Airbnb compared to many others. She is fantastic at ensuring you have everything you need. The schoolhouse is beautiful, with high ceilings and many windows, making it bright and cheerful. The view from the deck is stunning, featuring two very old willow trees. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families with children, as there is a nice swing set and playground equipment on the property.

Grants property was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Location is walkable to downtown to enjoy restaurants/ shopping etc. Many trails to hike and bike in the area.

Could not have had a better stay! The location is incredible and The Winneshieck House was even more wonderful than described. Perfect for a group, there were all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. To say everything is walkable is almost an understatement. Betsy was very helpful, super responsive- a top tier host. We are inspired to making this trip a yearly tradition and hope to be back again!

Danielle's place is very well redone, spacious, well stocked with extras etc. We were in town for a graduation and had room to hang out, cook out, spread out. Communication was easy, she was cleaning as we arrived but not a big deal and very clean. I think this is a newer rental and I have one suggestion - window coverings! It's very secluded, so I wasn't worried about peepers but we all were up EARLY with the sun. There are stairs, very beautiful, but could be an issue if you have mobilty challenges. Overall, my kid has graduated from Luther, but this is a very nice large space for anyone in the future.

This was a very nice home to stay in with ample space! We loved it. We did not take advantage of the beautiful outdoor porch but can see hanging out there another time. I loved how close it was to Trout Run Trail. Without a question, I would recommend this sweet place. The host was super friendly and available. Charming place!

Me and my family had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. The home is so cute and the beds were so comfortable! The location was perfect, we were able to walk to nearby hiking trails and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great spot! The upstairs is like a whole separate apartment. Great for families. Very comfortable, private and super close to downtown! We would definitely stay again
