Up there with the best air bnbs we’ve stayed in. Beautiful property with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was an amazing touch. Hosts were very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Thank you for an amazing 4 day break.

This spot is fantastic for getting away and reconnecting with nature. Secluded, beautiful views and excellent property with great amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery for cooking at the property which is essential for this retreat. I highly recommend staying here and will be back again soon. Jessie is a fantastic host and went out of her way to ensure we had materials for the fire pit and were comfortable during our stay. Thanks again :)

This stay is by far one of the best Air B&B stays I’ve ever had. Went for a peaceful getaway and it was perfect. Andy was the most attentive host and his property was beyond beautiful and pristine. How he keeps the entire 3 acres this perfect is beyond me. The location, on the edge of a huge gorge had the best views ever! We enjoyed his stunning rock pool that looked like it was cut straight out of the natural, huge rock formations in the area. We ate outside almost every night in the beautiful garden area. Even made a small bonfire and just enjoyed the night. I cannot recommend Andy’s cottages more. We will for sure be back soon!

Ally and Blake's place was so wonderfully designed for guests. They had thoughtful touches and additions all over the cottage to make it feel like a beautiful escape and hotel quality linen on the beds and robes which was awesome. The outdoor tub was a wonderful addition to this cute little cottage.

We had a wonderful stay at Vincent’s super cosy cottage. Vincent was so friendly and helpful and the place was super clean, very well equipped and everything we needed for our family stay away. Being able to take our dog was an added bonus!

We had a beautiful stay. The cottage is remote and incredibly private as we had the whole property to ourselves. Only wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Highly recommend the sauna addition although do note the additional cost. We’d love to return again

The place was homely and had everything we needed. The weather was cold while we were there but the wood burner made it cosy. Two of the big pluses for us were that it was dog friendly and very walkable to the main part of Leura. We enjoyed our stay.

The Church was a gorgeous place to spend a long weekend. Lovely surroundings and great facilities.

The place was beautiful! clean, modern, cosy. It had everything we needed - fireplace, fridge/freezer, kitchen and utensils, washer and dryer, heater in the bedroom, electric blankets, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. Everything. So conveniently located in Katoomba close to all the shops/restaurants. We will stay again definitely!

Absolutely loved our stay! The view was lovely— the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. We spent hours relaxing by the fireplace, which made the whole place feel so cozy and calming. The location is great, with tons of amazing restaurants just minutes away. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot

Perfect weekend getaway with the family + pooches. The property was beautifully furnished inside with warm touches, we felt right at home. Not too far from city centre, very convenient to walk to shops/restaurants. Great hosts.

It was an absolute delight staying at The Nook! Ross was a fantastic host, providing clear and helpful information both before and during our stay. The cottage itself was charming and comfortable, and the views were truly spectacular – even better than the pictures! We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the stocked wood for the verandah and the well-equipped kitchen. It felt like a home away from home. We had a wonderful and relaxing time and would highly recommend The Nook to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking scenery. We hope to be back again in the future!

Nungaroo Cottage is a charming timber slab retreat in the Blue Mountains, perfect for a peaceful escape. Surrounded by bushland and friendly farm animals, this eco-friendly stay offers a cosy open-plan living space with a fireplace, air-conditioning, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The main queen bed is set by the fire, while a loft area provides a king bed (or two singles on request). Relax in the private cedar hot tub, explore scenic trails, or enjoy the covered verandah with a BBQ.The resident rooster start crows around 4:30 AM :D

We were a group of 6 ladies away for a 50th birthday. The house was just perfect. The photos don’t do it justice, so clean and cosy with gorgeous little vintage touches and interior decor to make it feel quaint and homey. The central heating was so good, but it also had a lovely fireplace. We especially loved the terrace with a valley view which was also bathed in sunshine in the winter afternoons. We loved having some champagne and nibbles out there each day. All in all it worked out beautifully for our girl’s weekend. Hopefully we can stay again one day.

Had a fantastic and cozy time at Nicole’s place! Went with a friend for a a midweek working retreat, and spent most of our time writing and reading by the fire, and evenings watching cooking dinner and movies. Wifi was fast and reliable for work purposes. Cabin was comfortable and clean, which kitchen well supplied. They also thoughtfully gifted a bottle of wine and some chocolates, which was lovely! Whole place was deliciously warm with the fire and aircon. The cabin is in a quiet residential area, great for our main aim of working in the day and relaxing in the evenings. Also walkable to town, or a very quick and easy drive, for supplies. On our last day we did the nearby Porters Pass bush walk which was really close and gorgeous (hard and at least 2.5 hours of hiking, so bring snacks and water)! Thanks Nicole :)

its a lovely, quiet, fully self contained place with all you need for a short or long stay. nice and close to walks and a short drive into town. perfect for coming back to after a long day walk!

Perfect winter getaway. Loved the house, thoughtful design, very warm & cosy, fully stocked kitchen, all the essentials provided and a super comfy place to hang out. Great location with restaurants close by and the village an easy drive (or brisk walk). Doug was super responsive. We’d love to stay again.

The cottage was warm and dry, a real haven from the torrential rain. The log fire was awesome and the hot air vents in the floor meant the rooms heated up quickly and drying wet clothes was no problem. There were quality appliances in the kitchen, comfortable beds with quality linen and plenty of hot water. The location is excellent, and a great base to do all the bush walking we wanted. I would thoroughly recommend Tim’s place for a place to stay in Autumn/ Winter and I look forward to coming back and trying the outside firepit in Sunmer!!

This is a beautiful home in the mountains with wonderful views. The interior is renovated and was stocked with everything we needed, including breakfast the first morning. It’s very close to great hiking spots. I would highly recommend this place!

This is one of those 5 star plus AirBnBs that you don’t necessarily expect but is always a lovely surprise to find. Portree Cottage had all of the things that make it 5 star: super clean, comfy beds etc. However, there are a number of things that make it 5 star plus. For us it was how well the place was provisioned, not only with basic foodstuffs but things I rarely see in an AirBnB such as a range of condiments, pasta, rice etc. It also had a great range of crockery, cooking utensils and serving platters. (The number of times I have stayed somewhere that does not have a salad bowl makes me very appreciative of places where I don’t have to improvise). There were also really thoughtful touches like hot water bottles for the beds and extra blankets if we needed them. There was also ample firewood for the combustion stove and, again, this is not something anyone should take for granted. Our family had an absolutely perfect weekend thanks to the generosity and thoughtfulness of our hosts.

Our second time staying at Claire's airbnb and it was even better than we remembered! 5 stars for everything. The cottage was spotlessly clean, organized and stocked with all the essentials you need so you can just settle in to a blissfully peaceful home away from home. We've stayed in over 50 airbnbs around the world and this is still one of our absolute favourites. I wish all airbnbs would operate to this level of wonderful. Claire is also super sweet, super responsive, helpful and just an all round good person. She even has special treats stocked like cookies, milk, and chardonnay fornher guests. Highly recommend!
