Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Wickham

Lovely stay, thanks Georgina. We found the apartment to be spotless (and we are fussy!), well equipped with thoughtful touches like a beach bag with towels for use during our stay and an info book with recommendations for eating etc. A very short stroll to beach which was lovely. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by but it is also quiet with the bedrooms situated at the back of the apartment. Living area is great and the balcony a lovely spot, the plants are a nice touch and makes it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom is small and the only thing I would change would be to add a little more storage space/ places to put things (in bathroom only) but this was easily solved for us by clearing the cupboard under the sink temporarily (ie; moving the hairdryer and spare toilet rolls elsewhere) then using that to store toiletries during our stay. Georgia was very communicative and proactive. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was exactly as pictured, well maintained and in a fabulous location. Peter was an accommodating host who responded to my queries promptly and patiently. He made sure we felt taken care of without being at all intrusive. He also provided great recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and provided brochures and flyers for said activities. Thanks to the brochures my 16yo son and I completed the self-guided architecture tour of Newcastle and loved it. Peter's recommendation of Goldberg's Coffee House on Darby Street was also a winner - we had a fabulous meal there on our last night. Would definitely stay here again!

Before we arrived, Phillipa was in communication. The location was great, but as the suburb is named the Hill, it was ok walking down the hill to the CBD. Coming home is uphill and quite a challenge. CBD is only minutes away on the bus and we found a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away at the Cathedral and used it frequently for a ride home. Bus #21. There is a timetable at the bus stop. The unit has 2 bedrooms on main level and a study downstairs, which suited us 3 ladies. Plenty of space. The Study has lots of books available to read. Plenty of games in the cupboard with beach towels, spare blankets etc. Bathroom recently renovated and lovely hot water. Beds are very comfy, clean linen with warm quilts. The kitchen contains everything you will need. Phillipa was a great host and was available during our stay to help with anything that was needed. I highly recommend this stay.

Vivienne’s apartment was absolutely perfect for my needs on a business trip to Newcastle. Vivienne was extremely friendly and left very detailed instructions which left no guesswork to be made upon check in/out. 10/10 for this experience and I will definitely be back for my next visit.

Great place for our stay in Newy with our 11 year old daughter. Both the bed & fold out couch were incredibly comfortable. Easy check in, great location, amazingly clean, well stocked if you were to stay longer (ie laundry detergent & dishing washing tablets). Would highly recommend.

Teresa's place was the perfect destination for a quick getaway. it was clean and tidy, and she was a very responsive, courteous host. We look forward to staying again soon!

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. My mother and I absolutely loved staying here. Inside and out was actually even better than the photos showed. Was a comfortable, tidy, modern, quiet space. Outside with the spa, pool and sauna made us feel like we were in a resort in Bali. Given the chance we will definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Redhead Beach House was fantastic. The house itself was well designed, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a platter and wine waiting for us and everything was well stocked and easy to find. Great selection of board games, table tennis and arcade game meant there was plenty to do when we were at the house. The area was beautiful and quiet. A great beach over the road - both our 11 year old daughter and our dog loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend. Thank you Natalie and Collin for your hospitality.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Had a magnificent relaxing weekend checking out all the beaches & awesome restaurants & cafes close by! The place was charming and thoughtfully designed definitely recommend 👍🏼🍵🧘🏼‍♀️

Literally booked at the last minute we felt like we'd won AirBnB lotto. Sally's home was perfect for our needs and was exactly as described. After 7 hrs of driving to be able to strech out on the couch and watch a movie was awesome, have a hot shower and stepping out onto warm tile floor (underfloor heating - like wow. It was 'Home away from Home'. Pristine clean, well equipped kitchen with ample crockery & glassware. Super comfy bed. Will stay again if back in the Hunter Valley again a day would highly recommend.

Wow! I have a lot to say about this bnb experience.. First and most importantly, Sarah is such a wonderful host - she allowed us to have an extremely flexible check-in and check-out. She went above and beyond and her hospitality was honestly spectacular. She was so flexible when we requested to stay longer and even gave us discounted rates. We were shocked at the incredible value her bnb was. It was like walking into a friend's home; such a well stocked kitchen, 10/10 beds, amazing bathroom and shower, beautifully decorated home and all the homely touches that make being away from home extra special. I cannot recommend Sarah's place enough. It exceeded our expectations and Sarah is honestly the perfect host.

Sandy is a great host, made everything very easy for us to use, ping pong table and arcade machine was fun, fire place in the backyard made for a chilled space.

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Perfect little stay for the long weekend. House had everything we needed, and it was convenient to walk along backyard through along the waterways.

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
