The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Nestled in the woods overlooking a community pond, enjoy the views through floor to ceiling windows or relax outside on one of the two large decks. The home includes a gas grill available for use and fire pit with wood provided. Best suited for two guests, it can accommodate up to 4 with use of the futon in the loft. Located just minutes away from the Potomac River and numerous recreational areas!

We considered calling this house “The View With Some Rooms,” but settled on The Lodge. This private 3-bedroom house includes a rooftop dome (which serves as the third bedroom). From almost every spot, enjoy the jaw-dropping scenery of endless mountains, three states, and the Potomac River. Camp Potomac Peak was recently (Nov 2024) named the best place to stay in the Eastern Panhandle by WV Living Magazine.
